Go into the spring until you are cleansed. Go see the Grandmaster and repeat the oath exactly as he speaks it.

Step 2, Symbol of Blessing: (Allows you to bless all non magical weapons. sym bless my ..requires favor) Honor Eonak

A)Making iron. Go to the kobold mine north and northwest of the bridge/bank enroute to Voln.
Go hole, then go shrubs. There is a wood burner there. You'll need one charcoal, one iron ore,
and one flask of oil to make a slab of iron.

1) Make charcoal: Get a log and tinder from pile. Put log in burner. get two sticks from the woodpile....that will start the fire. Wait. Takes about 5 minutes.

2)Get oil: From the burner, go bush, go shadow, down, down, north. Search until you find a flask of oil.

3)Get iron ore: From oil room, south, down, south, search workface.

4)Make the slab. From the workface, north, up, go door. You're at the crucible...then:

a)turn valve til it is closed.

b)put ore in cruc and put charc in cruc

c)go east

d)pour oil in drum

e)pull chain and pull bellow

f)go west

g)turn valve til it opens

h)go east

i)pull chain and pull bellow

j)pull chain and pull bellow

k)go west and wait til it cools
 

B)Throw slab in Lake Eonak. Go to the signpost on the sw corner of town.
Go sw and s from there til you can go east. Go east, then ne. This is Lake Eonak.
Put iron in Lake.

Step 3, Symbol of Thought: (Allows you to communicate telepathically with other members ..sym thou ..can only be turned off with a seashell..requires favor) Honor Oleani

Get a rose from the florist or forage one at the Voln courtyard.
Go to the wedding glade northwest of the North Gate. Put rose on altar.

Step 4, Symbol of Recovery: (Allows you to regenerate HP..requires favor) Honor Cholen

Go to Shanty town in the SE corner of town. Find the room with the hut,
where you feel you are being watched. Drop 100 coins and sing a song to
Cholen..use the words laugh, sing, dance, play and Cholen in your song.
It is not necessary to wear a lampshade on your head.

Step 5, Symbol of Courage: (Raises your AS by 1 point per step for a limited time..requires favor) Honor Jastev

Pay close attention to the words the monk uses to describe Jastev.
Go to the GY gates..outside. Recite a poem to Jastev, using the words
dark, sullen, art, poetry, dead in the poem. The poem does not have to rhyme.

Step 6, Symbol of Protection: (Raises your DS by 1 point per step for a limited time..requires favor) Honor Imaera

First get an acorn from TSC..look in the nest in the tree, a favorite
hiding place. Then go to the Krolvin Village..go shore..swim open..
swim shore..you only need a 5 in swimming to make it. Once you reach
the island, kneel and bury my acorn outside the shrine.

Step 7, Charl's Throw: (Allows you to combat creatures and other players with your bare hands (use in stance guarded or higher). Does little damage, but knocks foe down, possibly stunning it. throw ..requires no favor against undead) Honor Charl

You'll need a coral gem for this. Go to Charl's shrine south of the Shelfae
area on the map. You need to swim thru the opening to get into the shrine.
Drop coral in the altar room.

Step 8, Kai's Punch: (Allows you to punch critters and other players for considerable damage (use in stance guarded or higher). You use your full MB when punching and wielding a shield does not affect it. punch ..requires no favor against undead) Honor Kai

Wrestle Kai in his shrine (in the Velnalin area, west of town on the map).
You need to have your hands free. You challenge Kai by saying "Lord Kai
I challenge you to a wrestling match", not "Lord Kai, yer mama is ugggglllyyy!"
Kai will show up and beat the tar out of you, be sure and fight back.

Step 9, Phoen's Kick: (Allows you to kick critters and other players causing considerable damage. The kick does the most HP damage of the Voln skills (use in stance guarded or higher). kick . You use your full MB while kicking and a shield doesn't affect it..requires no favor against undead) Honor Phoen

First, go to the cleric's shop and buy a votive. Take it to the monk
and light my votive with lamp. Go to archwights in the GY. There is a
lower section in the lower center of the undercrypt map, just where
the crevice leads to night hounds. In the center of that area
is a room with exits ne, se, sw, nw. Go there and go stair. Wave your
votive.

Step 10, Symbol of Calming: (Allows you to calm undead creatures and sometimes other players. This draws on your CS to be effective..requires favor) Honor Lorminstra

Get an herb. Go to altar just inside the temple. Place herb on
altar and pray.

Step 11, Symbol of Sleep: (Allows you to put undead creatures and other players to sleep..requires favor) Honor Ronan

Look on the "Wilds of Wehnimer" map, lower left hand corner. Find
Ronan's Shrine. Go there, lie down. The key to the dream is "Life".

Step 12, Symbol of Turning: (Allows you to repel undead, much like the ranger spell. Successful emplyment the critter will flee, very successful employment will kill critter..requires favor) Honor Lumnis

Go to the GY. Go to the dirges area in the NE corner of the bog,
where you look out over the graves when you search. Search til you see
Rone Wehnimer's tomb stone. Read the tombstone. Remember that
Lumnis was the wife of Koar (Koar is the answer)

Step 13, Symbol of Mana: (Allows you to replentish lost mana. Requires 2 deeds, although as an empath I only lose one..requires favor) Honor Koar

Go to the town well at TSC. Climb rope, kneel and say "I have come to
honor Koar, master of mana". Say it exactly as the monk did.

Step 14, Symbol of Sight: (Allows you to locate any Voln member in the given area..differs from the locate spell as you can watch for a bit ..requires favor) Honor Tonis

Get out the coastal cliffs map. Go west staying on the cliffs til you can't
go any further west. From the path linking sea nymphs with greater kappas,
go w, nw, w, w. Say "you have not been forgotten"

Step 15, Symbol of Holiness: (Allows you to bless magical and enchanted weapons. Duration is 4x players level. sym holi my ..requires favor) Honor Eonak

Go to the stables in town. Go straw, se, w, pull cresset,
touch broad.

Step 16, Symbol of Submission: (Allows you to render an undead unhostile..requires favor) Honor Oleani

This time get a dozen roses at the florist. Go to the wedding
chapel in the temple. Go temple, go white arch, go pink arch,
drop rose.

Step 17, Symbol of Restoration: (Allows you to recoup a greater amount of HP then Recovery..requires favor) Honor Cholen

Get some friends and go to the museum. Go n, ne, go door, climb rope,
climb ladder. That puts you on the rooftop. Once there use the act
command to make a complete fool of yourself. Your friends need to roll
laugh, laugh, chuckle, howl, etc. til the boy comes out and tells you
you're a jackass (actually he laughs at you, not with you).

Step 18, Symbol of Need: (Allows you to broadcast a picture of the room you are in to all Voln members in that area. You can use this symbol after you die..requires favor) Honor Jastev

Go to the leaper's area south of the coastal cliffs in the abandoned village.
The brass shrine is in the middle there. Touch it.

Step 19, Symbol of Retribution: (Allows you to attack creatures in a room after you are dead, with a shout of terror, doing considerable damage ..requires favor) Honor Imaera

Go back to Imaera's shrine, again staying outside the actual shrine. Pray.

Step 20, Throw2: (Same employment as throw1, significantly increases your chances of a successful throw, for more damage ..requires no favor against undead) Honor Charl

Go out to the Coastal cliffs area and cross the path to where kappas
are. Look at your map. In the spectral fisherman area there is a
long string of rooms that jut out north, then hooks east at the end.
That's the pier. Go to the end and down all the way to the rock in
the water. Talke 100 coins time your level, and drop them there.

Step 21, Punch2: (Same employment as punch1, more damage per strike..requires no favor against undead) Honor Kai

This takes a little while, you have to go to Stonehelm for it.
First, get any old weapon--plain metals..pick up one in kobolds. Look
on the "greater orcs/foothills" map. Stonehelm is in the lower
right corner. Go to the grey colored room (on your map) and drop
the weapon in the pool.

Step 22, Kick2: (Same employment as kick2, more damage per strike ..requires no favor against undead) Honor Phoen

Get out your "Danjirland" map. Upper left corner is Fireguardians.
In the middle of that area is a colored colored square, accessed by
"climb arch." Get a blue crystal and go there. From that room,
go ne once, and drop the crystal in the lava.

Step 23, Symbol of Preservation: (Allows you to life-keep yourself after you've died..requires favor) Honor Lorminstra

Find a newbie who doesn't have a deed. Take him to the temple
in town, and go to the the altar where the dead return. Say "Lorminstra,
give my deed".

Step 24, Symbol of Dreams: (Allows you to put yourself to sleep and regenerate HP and mana, as well as absorb experience faster. You can communicate while dreaming by using the Say command ..requires favor)

This one is a serious pain in the butt. Make sure you dump everything,
except armor, shield and an empty backpack. You have to climb so be
light.

A) Go to the Stairs at Melgorehn's Reach.

1)Go to the gatehouse. Go open, climb patform, turn wheel, down, out.
Work your way up the mountain. When you reach the incline, climb up it.
Once you're up go west. You'll see some strange runes.

B) Beat the rune puzzle. Read the runes. You'll see something like this:

Use this key to know which rune to push:

If E is under.... Then Push..
           R                 S
           S                 O
           Z                  Z
           O                 R

*when three steps go up, Select the rune the E is under, then start
all over with the sequence (as shown in the key above) until all four
steps go up. Then go step.

This key may have changed, so be prepared to figure it out.

C) Get to the altar. From the top of steps, go west until you see a trolley
car station and a dam.

a) Open/close dam to lower the trolley car

b)When trolley car arrives, get in, and quickly open/close dam again
to start the car moving up

c)when you reach the top, get out of the car and go in whatever direction
you can

d) You'll eventually see a fog..go fog, search, search wall, climb vine
(go in new directions as they become available through searching)

e)Go open..you'll be at the altar. Moonlight comes in every 10 minutes.
Lie down when the beam hits the altar.

f) when you feel the immense satisfaction, stand and go shaft

g)Go open and immediately lie down, so you don't bump your head.
(You're nowin the waterslide. If you mess up here..exit the game and you'll
be back at the top of the waterslide..you can also fog from here with 130.)

h)Lean left each chance you get except the third chance. Just go straight
You empty out into Lake Eonak.

Step 25, Symbol of Return: (fogs you and those you hold to Voln Courtyard..requires favor) Honor Lumnis.

You'll have to see the Hermit and answer three questions.

1.Look at Coastal Cliffs map..find Sandcastle in upper left hand corner. Go there.

2.Lie down, search sandcastle

3.Push Sandcastle

4.go sandcastle and search when you find the stairs, go stair

5.lie down, search until you find a curtain go curtain. You should be able to realize you're in the hermit's room

6.When you hear him stirring from his sleep, ask him about task.

7.Answer his three questions.
