    Description/Image:

Rahna's bright emerald eyes sparkle delighfully, her auburn hair has grown out to below her shoulders and is slightly dissheveled. It gives the impression of having been carefully arranged but not maintained. It is glossy and healthier than ever, though. Her skin is a lovely golden tanned color, offsetting her eyes beautifully. She is definitely classic Catelf, with slanted feline eyes and a sleek, graceful build. She is slim and shapely, in clothes of green and tan leathers painstakingly beaded by some unknown artist.

    Background:

Rahna has belonged to the CatElf tribe all her life. Born to Lyra and Teshan, she had a happy childhood, with her brother, Kavan. While still rather young, her family adopted her half-sister, Silla, when Silla's mother died. Rahna's parents chose to leave the Encampment, in search of new places for the CatElves to explore. Her mother and father returned after a very long disappearance, just in time to soften the blow of her missing lovemate, a go-back who had been staying with her in the jungle. He chose to return to his home for some of his belongings, and took FAR longer than expected to return. Another joy distracting her from her concern for his safety was the birth of her sister's first kit... a beautiful little she-elf. Her lovemate returned to the Encampment, but it was a time before his damaged memory was restored, at which time they chose to lifemate.

Rahna's lifemate was accepted into the CatElf tribe, but withdrew from it to return to the Traders, with whom she agreed to travel. Scheduled to leave after the CatElf festival, she was quite ready to go, when Recognition struck her and a Wolfrider by name of SpringTree. She left with the Traders, Spring following them, fulfilling the demands of the Recog only when he caught up. To keep his mind off his worry for her, her lifemate took a lovemate within the Traders, which Rahna took very badly, and he vowed not to go back to the lovemate.

Shortly after the birth of Rahna and Springtree's daughter, Maori (who was born in the jungle during a short visit made for the sole purpose of birthing the kit there), Rahna's lifemate experienced Recognition's pull as well, with a past lovemate of his. After the birth of Sarojin, the mother (Nayami) disappeared, leaving Sarojin with Rahna and her lifemate. Maori matured almost faster than possible, with a personality and background that Rahna couldn't handle. The two couldn't stand each other almost from the start.
