    Description/Image:

Trev (once nmaed Root) is tall for an elf with wolfblood. He has long brown hair that hangs in his eyes, which are green. He wears a dark green loincloth that reaches to mid thigh He has four paralell scars from his right shoulder down to the top of his stomach that he received from a jungle cat when it attacked him as a cub. He is also missing the top joint of his first finger on the right hand from the same incident. He has a newly healing scar running from ankle to calf on his left leg.

    Background:

Born to the CatElf Loresong, after her recognition with the wanderer Longgrass, Root had a hard childhood. His mother was a young wanderer, who wanted nothing to do with him, and his father was, in a way, afraid of her. When he was only 1 week old, she left him and his father, and never came back.

7 turns later, Root overheard a conversation his father had with a traveling elf who had stopped to spend the night with them. The elf asked his father many questions about Root, but the last one sent shivers down Root's spine: "You don't seem to be the kind that would be traveling with a young boy. Why are you?" His father had hesitated before saying: "His mother left him, and he has nowhere else to go. She left him with me, and there's nothing I can do about it." Root heard all of this, and thinking that his father didn't love him anymore, he fled.

The boy ran for days, never stopping, or noticing the beautiful land around him. Until he reached a low forested area, and he was stuck from behind by a huge cat. He fell to the ground, and the huge animal almost killed him. But something flew through the air, and hit the cat, knocking it dead. His rescuer never told him her name, and he never saw her again, but he remembers her eyes, and the voice of the sharp yell she gave when killing the cat.

After that he traveled free. He was very carful about his surroundings from then on. Root hunted with his small spear, and cooked his own food. He saw many others on his travels, but never stayed with them long. He learned to sew together deer and ravvit skins to make his own clothing, and soon had made himself a tent also.

Root is much older now, but still lives in this sort of fashion. His childhood has had a large impact on his life. He travels free, never knowing where he's going, or what he's going to do when he gets there. He is carefree, and strong. Although some may think he's coldhearted, he just doesn't let his feelings be known, after all, can they be hurt if their unknown?
