My Background I was born in Scarborough (now part of Toronto), Ontario, Canada. I graduated from Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate in 1996. I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (2000). and a Bachelor of Education from OISE/UT (the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/ University of Toronto) (2001).

I play an instrument which unfortunately isn't as well known as it should be: the Euphonium I studied with Frank Harmantas, a long time Trombone player with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra I have played on several recordings. Here are some clips (awaiting copyright permission).

My Interests I am a member of the Windsor Regiment Band I have also performed with the 48th Highlanders, the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra as well as the Band of the Ceremonial Guard. I also spent several years in the Drum Corps circuit.
