Maxim is the pivotal character of Lufia 2. He starts out as a monster hunter and begins his quest helping others out. When he meets Iris for the first time, he learns the he is powerful enough to take on the evil forces of the Land of Lufia, the Sinistrals. He sets out and meets others with great power,
Guy of Tanbel, Selan of Parcelyte, and Dekar of Bound Kingdom.
These warriors possess incredible power, and although three other's join his quest, these four are the most powerful.
