Cut flank steak across the graininto 1/4-inch thick slices; place in small bowl. Combine marinade ingredients and pour over meat strips, stirring to coat meat well. Cover and marinade in refrigerator at least four hours, preferably overnight.
Remove beef strips from marinade; reserve marinade. Thread beef strips lengthwise on to skewers in an interlacing fashion. Place on barbecue grill and cook three to four minutes per side, basting with remaining marinade.
Makes six servings.
