Arucanas are a rare breed in purebrd form only. They are mostly mixed for their egg colouring which is bluishgreen to pink. Arucana roosters are extremely nasty! Although ours doesn't crow as much as our Salmon Faverolle. We got two Arucana chicks purebred, hoping that at least one would be a hen. Wouldent you know it one dies and the other is a cock! So now we are stuck with that
