AGSMA Soundtracks

WARNING!
NOT FOR THE WEAK OF HEART, MIND OR INTERNET CONNECTION

The Anything Goes School of Masquerade Arts has a long tradition of skits and scripts, both with action and comedy, and just a little romance once in a while.
First! We provided pictures and text scripts of our skits.
The logical next step comes now! The soundtracks and background music for the skits, the next best thing to having movies or even being there. (ok, so that's a far stretch). But if you weren't there, or you were and just want to relive the memory, you need the background music, to set the mood, and get in the right atmosphere that we were operating in.
Now, Courtesy of AGSMA Records, we are proud to present, the history of soundtracks to AGSMA presentations!

Mixed by: Ah My Cosplay
Recorded at: Project Akon 10
Credits to: "Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan" © (C) Sakura Taisen

Things to Look For: This is the actual replay from Project Akon. Listen carefully and you will be able to tell that it was all sung, and if you pay really close attention, you can hear the dialogue during the interlude.

Capcom Double Date Drama

Things to Look For: The contingency ending that was placed just incase the skit ran over.
(even though for most of you, this will be the first time you heard the background music.)

Things to Look For: This is all background music but you can absolutely tell when things are about to change. The dialogue was yelled out on stage so that will not be in this recording.

Mononoke Mountain
Mononoke Hime/Princess Mononoke
Performed at: Anime Expo 2000
Mixed by: Wayne Kaa
Recorded at: KAA Industries, Audio/Visual Division
Credits to: Disneyland Forever Soundtrack
© (C) Disney
Status: Version 5.0, Available Now! Click to listen!
Things to Look For: Version 5.0 is the one actually used on stage, with all the Disney-isms added. The various versions have certain extras added in. Be sure to listen for Indiana Jones, Wendy saying "How Dreadful", and Mickey Mouse saying "Well you might think you're so powerful, but this is my dream!". For those of you Disney fanatics, the initial scream comes from the elevator at the Haunted Mansion, as well as the wolf howl, and the Hurry Back at the end. The Remain Seated warning and the howl at the end (Yeti call) both are from the Matterhorn. The Space Mountain Theme is truncated to fit the 2 minute limit we have, so the initial part (Mission Control, Launch Sequence Engaged) has been edited out.

A Few Clow Cards Short of a Full Deck
Card Captor Sakura
Performed at: Fanime Con 2001
Mixed by: Genjitsu
Recorded at: GAP Recording Studios
Credits to: Gumi, Ricky Martin, Morning Musume, Calloway, Hirose Koumi.

Status: Available Now! Click to listen!
Things to Look For: This again is background music, but with Catch You Catch Me radiating all throughout the background. Hence, you our cues were from specific lines of CYCM. The dialogue was yelled out on stage so that will not be in this recording.

M**N Sync
Sailor Moon

Mixed by: Demo Tape by: Wayne Kaa
Final Mix by: Genjitsu

Final Mix: GAP Recording Studios

Respective songs © (C) Respective Owners
Status: Available Now! Click to listen! (MP3 Format)
Things to Look For: A Wonderful Blend of Bubblegum Pop, following in the trend of Katsucon and Fanime Con. It's wonderfully mixed and a large improvement from the scratchy Demo Tape version with differing volumes. The entire soundtrack was pre-recorded, we did not do any voice overs. Incidentally, the "Britney" in the soundtrack is from one of her songs.

Chun Li's Angels
Capcom
Performed at: San Diego Comic Con 1999
Mixed by: Genjitsu
Recorded at: First Clips: Ah My Cosplay
Final Mix: GAP Recording Studios
Credits to: "The Theme to Charlie's Angels"
Status: Available Now! Click to listen!
Things to Look For: The effects spliced in from the Streetfighter game, and the awesome voice overs by the likes of AMC and Genjitsu, which happen to be their regular voices.

Credits to: Escaflowne, A Girl in Gaia OST
Respective songs © (C) Respective Owners

The Dreaded Genrietta Version
Things to Look For: A very traditional and serious skit, with all the voice overs done by Henry! Well we did an override on Henry and had the Hitomi re-recorded by Annie. Because Genrietta is not allowed to do voice overs!

M**N Sync II
Sailor Moon

Mixed by: Genjitsu
Recorded at: GAP Recording Studios
Credits to: Britney Spears, Back Street Boys, Pink, Eminem, Will Smith, Nelly, Meaty Cheesy Boys, N'Sync.
Respective songs © (C) Respective Owners
Status: Available Now! Click to listen! (MP3 Format)
Things to Look For: So horrible, that it had to be done again! This time with songs made popular during 2002, but all Pop, all the time. Check out the special light saber sound effects for Moon Silicon Strike! Genrietta was allowed to make a voice acting appearance as Sailor Pepsi.

Yu-Gi-Oh-My-God!
Yu-Gi-Oh!

Mixed by: Softie & Darryl
Recorded at: Softie & Hwang Recording Studios
Credits to: Yu-Gi-Oh Opening Theme
© (C) Kids WB
Country Musume - "Irropoi Onna ~SEXY BABY~"
© (C) Hello Project & Tsunku
"Walk like an Egyptian"
© (C) Bangles
Status: Available Now! Click to listen! (MP3 Format)
Things to Look For: This soundtrack is mostly voice-overs by Wayne's evil voice, Darryl's heroic voice and Paffo's quiet voice.

READY STEADY GO - L'Arc~en~Ciel
Let Me Be With You (Instrumental) - Chobits OP
Respective songs © (C) Respective Owners
Status: Available Now! Click to listen! (MP3 Format)
Things to Look For: Most people don't detect it but there is a finger snap after Roy completes his miniskirt line. Most all the songs are from FMA with the exception of the miniskirt sequence with the cute bubbly anti-Scar song from Chobits. .

Kon-Fu Fighting
Bleach

Mixed by: Genjitsu
Recorded at: GAP Recording Studios
Credits to: Bleach OST
Lucasfilm
Respective songs © (C) Respective Owners
Status: Available Now! Click to listen! (MP3 Format)
Things to Look For: There's a special guest voice during this skit. This version is also different from the one actually played on stage as we have an omake at the very end for the most loyal of Bleach fans.

Bread to Be a Winner
Yakitate!! Japan
Performed at: Anime Expo 2006
Mixed by: Genjitsu
Recorded at: GAP Recording Studios
Credits to: Yakitate!! JAPAN OST I & II
Ricky Martin - Livin' La Vida Loca
Respective songs © (C) Respective Owners
Status: Available Now! Click to listen! (MP3 Format)
Things to Look For: Kawachi and Kuroyan are voiced by Mousse. Genjitsu voices Ken, Ori voices Satsuki, while Rice and Ramen help voice Azuma.
