She is happy, honest and simple person. She is the shortest of the three girls, but is the strongest in heart.
Hikaru is the youngest child in the Shidou's family. She is an energetic person because she grew up with her three older brothers (they protect her a lot) and they practice Kendo with her. She is a little far from the actual technology... she even doesn't know what RPG or a video-game is... They live in a simple (big!!) house and they practice kendo in their own training room.
In Cefiro, she is the most decided and confident of the three girls, so she becames the "leader" of the Magic Knights and is Mokona's intimate friend. She is always promising to everybody that will turn into real Magic Knights to save Princess Emerauld and Cefiro...
Some differences between the Manga and the Anime Hikaru occurs on Rayearth 2. Hikaru grows up in heart and mind, she got taller, and then she got someone to love, and to fight for him. But in addition, Hikaru is still a little innocent and childish than the Anime, this can happen because in the Anime, Hikaru had more emotional problems for the conflicts with Autozam and Nova.
