Zagato learnt light magic from Clef and has a "pet"' - Innova - and other people's help to destroy the Magic Knights with it's legend. In his chamber, he is always having a wine, or watching the Magic Knights with his Magic Mirror, that can show everything in Cefiro. He can talk to someone by mind conversation.
A difference between the two version's Zagato is that in the manga he wasn't the one who aprisioned Emerauld in the flower.
