Hello everyone..

This isen't Exactly IRC but most chat systems on the internet are based on IRC. This java client is the closest one that I have found easy to install on a webpage without take up space. Your browser needs to support java for this page to work for you. Netscape and Internet Explorer support java. If you are using Netscape or Internet Explorer but you don't see anything at the bottom of this page click on the Spin image for more help. It is either your browser is a older version or you have java and java script turned off in your preferences. To get a newer version of Netscape or Internet Explorer go to Browser.com.

Commands

  1. Make sure your screen is Maxamized.
  2. Enter your name or nick name at the bottom of the window.
  3. Push enter.
  4. type "/help" without the ".
  5. A list of commands are going to pop up.
  6. Start Chatting.

You don't need to logoff it will automatically do it when your browser goes to a different page. If they are no people in the room /join Welcome! to chat to more people.

Oh BTW! if you have Telnet which if your running Windows95 you have it. There are some links at the bottom to connect to DALnet and if you're in to MUD there's a link at the bottom too
