And to your right is a lovely drawing (the original Manga drawn by Takeuchi Naoko, the creator of Sailor Moon) of Prince Darien and Princess Serena, all for your viewing pleasure.
Well, how shall I start? I mean, even admitting I like Sailor Moon is hard, considering the types of people I acquaint myself with. For starters, it's a cartoon. Another thing is it's a girly cartoon (it being the 90's, my friends are very anti-pink, anti-pastel, anti-girly-- hee, what does that make me?-- kuz the tables have turned-- showing my femininity isn't exactly my way to power-- can you tell I don't like the Spice Girls?, it seems almost slimy). Last but not least, if the "girly cartoon" excuse sounded lame, it's a whole bunch of chicks running around in tight outfits and miniskirts. If you were a respectably 16 year old girl, would you admit you liked watching busty, over-developed cartoon women running around on television? Not that I have anything against gays. They're like any other people. Look at Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune! Society seems to have something on them, though. Besides, I don't want to use this page discussing my views on gays. Anyway, I don't want to be imprisoned by someone else's image of me. It's a cool show!
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon is basically a story about Serena (known as Usagi in Japan) and her friends who lead double lives as the Sailor Scouts and fight against the evil powers of the Negaverse. When the moon was attacked by Queen Beryl, Queen Serenity (Serena's mother) captured all of them and sent them into the future. They would have no memory of the Moon Kingdom unless Queen Beryl returned, wherefor their guardians (cats Luna and Artemis) would awaken them and return to them their powers. It's also partly a romance between Serena and Darien, (Princess of the Moon and Prince of Earth), who were in love back in the Moon Kingdom, but have more than a few problems with their love life on Earth.
If you're more interested and would like to visit a particularly detail-oriented site, point your browsers to Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. I *especially* recommend it-- it's the *BIBLE* of everything and anything Sailor Moon. It has a better summary than I could ever give you on the show, has summaries of all the movies and each and every one of the episodes, character profiles, pictures, and even backgrounds on the original Japanese character voices and the creator, Naoko.
You can find information on Sailor Moon Memorabilia there, too, but a place you can buy direct includes Rising Sun Creations. They have a well-organized website where you can purchase toys, playing cards, and magazines. Wanna visit? Go here. Another place you can order SM items at a low price is Choys Toys.
Here, I digress... There's this really cool computer program called Kiss, which is short for Kissekae (Japanese for paper doll). You download this program and download these little add-ons (LZH files). These add-ons are digital paper dolls for your computer, which run on Kiss. I suggest you download a program that supports FKiss, FKiss2, or CKiss add-ons. FKiss adds animation to dolls, while CKiss has enhanced colors. Anyway, you can take your pick of programs and dolls (they have a wicked cool selection of Sailor Moon and other Anime/Manga dolls!) at OtakuWorld!
Now that I have that out of the way, here are some pages within my cyberspace crawlspace:
The Hopeless Romantic Gallery - This is a picture gallery of Sailor Moon pics I collected off the web. It's entitled the Hopeless Romantic Gallery because it's chock full of sweet, heartwarming moments between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask/Serena and Darien/Usako and Mamo-chan (Usagi/Mamoru).
Bunny's Moon Music - This is a page with MIDI files of Sailor Moon Music I've collected off the net.
Bunny's Midnight Moon Madness - This is just an inventory of Sailor Moon stuff I own. I don't know why I decided to post a whole page on it. ::innocent shrug::
Last, but not least, in fact, most important, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE visit SOS, the Save/Support our Sailors Headquarters!
