church graphic Heads and Tails

We invented this one, and it was one of our favorites.

Materials needed: Pen or pencil, paper

Object: Use your and your cellmate's imaginations to draw bruly bizarre images. No losers in this game.

Game Play: Fold a piece of paper in half. Your cellmate draws either a head above the fold or a body below the fold, but you can't watch. To finish their turn, they draw the neck so it's across the fold and partially visible on the other half of the paper. Then they give the folded paper to you, hiding what they have drawn. You draw the other half of the creature, matching the neck, but your cellmate can't watch. When you're done, unfold the paper to unveil your monstrosity.

creature of the damned

We drew everything from people parts to animal parts to inanimate objects. If you don't draw really large bodies, you can fit several pictures on each page, then save them for posterity. I still have some of mine in a scrap book. If the preacher calls your animals "unholy pagan creatures of the damned," you might consider the next game.
