Church Games
yawning face When I was a boy, I hated going to church. To be honest, it still ain't tops on my list of entertaining pasttimes. But back then it bordered on torture.
To help pass the time, I and my cellmate (my cousin) would play "quiet" games. I know our parents wanted us to pay attention to the sermons, but in our eyes, it was either playing games or carving tally marks in the pews. tally marks
flames They should have thanked us for being so reverent. Yeah, they should have thanked us! Games were just the only way we could cope with the burning sulphurs of boredom.


It's many years later now, but I doubt young kids and church get along any better. The Good Book says to love your neighbor, so to save young souls from the terrible fate of boring sermons, I thought I'd pass along the church games we used to play. Some were games taught to us by somebody else, but the others we just stumbled upon by accident.

Accident? Hmmmm. Maybe it was...
