& his beyondforest project

| Cheong
Weng Chun was not the first person to establish a website in the internet.
Nor was he the first Malaysian to have a personal website. After spending
3 years in the world of internet, he picked up the nickname beyondforest. |
December,
1989: Started his secondary education in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan
Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in Shah Alam. This is the moment where
he gets to know more people who are also interested in computer and of
course, pc games.
Another
personal achievement would be the life-saving exams which he have
passed after taking it for the first time along with a few other school
children which makes them one of the youngest life-savers in Malaysia.

July,
1977:
beyondforest
was born in a small town of Selangor, Malaysia - Banting. |
Year
1992: Enter the most competitive class among the Form 3 classes in
the school. He struggled to get a good result and still unable to beat
the geniuses in the class. Fortunately, he was still able to find himself
a place in science stream for the Form 4 class from the result of his SRP
examination.

| January,
1984: He started his primary education in Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan
Jalan Air Panas. He was also chosen to represent his class in a drawing
competition but failed to get the top prizes. |
Year
1994: Sat for SPM examination and managed to get a Grade 1 for it.
While
waiting for his result, he took up a temporary job as a sales promoter
in a sports shop.

June,
1986: Introduced to the world of computer, a 8088 XT model which cost
his father RM3,000 at that time.
Moved
to Shah Alam and continue his standard 3 study in Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan
Seksyen 19. |
Year
1995 - 1999: Managed to secure a place in local university -Universiti
Putra Malaysia (formerly known as Universiti Pertanian Malaysia) in Diploma
of Forestry and just after one year, earned a promotion to Bachelor of
Forestry Science majoring in Parks and Recreation Management.
He
have gained lots of experiences in life, friendship, and not forgotten
those fond memories while going outdoor and camps with his fellow coursemates.
Managed
to try his hands and brain with university's pc with internet and that
is when the idea for this beyondforest project website started.
