Things that the Common people fall for

Firstly, the things in this page may not agree with what you think of, but, remember, the WWW is a place for Free Speech, so just listen to what I have to say.

PCs seem to dominate the market alot don't they. I was just watching the Tv the other day and say that intel inside advert, you know, the one that says :"it runs your CD rom, access to the internet and stuff. " To the normal person, he'll think: "Oh, you need that chip to do those things, better get a computer with the Intel Inside chip in it" That's the idea most people out there are getting, but since you're reading this off the internet, you probably know this already, but in case you didn't why not buy a Mac, the most user friendly computer in the world.

Paracetamol (is that how you spell it?) Okay, everyone knows that you can get killed from an overdoes of anything. Did you know that you can get killed from an overdose of Vitamin C? (and all the others) Well, recently, someone died from an overdose of paracetamol. Soooo, the government says: "Okay, let's put half as much paracetamol in the containers, therefore, less people will die." Yeah, right. Use your common sense people!! I could die from eating lots of Vitamin A tablets, let's half the amount of tablets in those containers!!! Do you remember the Aspirin scare aswell? That was about 5 years ago? Children under 12 cannot take the drug as it killed someone earlier. Now,was that because the kid just took one? Or twenty? Hmmmm...

Latest...Lately, there has been the fireworks scare in Britain. As usual, what people see, people do. A stupid inconsiderate fool drops a firework through someone's letterbox, unfortunately, there happens to be a child in the house, who dies from the foolishness of another. There have also been the problems of people handling fireworks improperly which results in deaths. Therefore, all the people think that "Oh no! We're all going to die if we're going to use fireworks." Of course, not everyone thinks that we are going to die, but just because two or three people die from someone else's foolishness doesn't mean that just anyone can die from handling fireworks. If you handle them properly, then it's alright, just don't be stupid. Oh yes, one more thing, all the fireworks used seemed to be Chinese Fireworks, and guess what, yes, the sales in Chinese Fireworks dropped dramatically, and guess who profited? UK Standard fireworks...hmmmmmmm.

Knife ControlThere has been the question of whether we should ban those combat knives? Well, yes, they are lethal, but what''s the difference between the damage that a 7 inch combat knife and a 7 inch kitchen knife. I know that we have a carvers knife in our house, and a rather nice cutting knife about 7 inches long. Now, any mad psycho could go to a cutlery shop and buy a nice juicy butchers knife and debowel someone rather easily. So, what on earth is the problem? Kitchen knives are EASIER to get hold of, CHEAPER and, well, you can get LOTS OF them.

Gun ControlThis matter has been quite a controversial matter. There has been the option of banning guns completely. Okay, after incidents like Dunblane, a lot of people may say to me: "What? Are you crazy, after 15 children get massacred by a mad guy with a GUN, you still want them to be legal?!!!" Well, notice that all the bad guys in America seem to have lots and LOTS of ILLEGAL guns. Now, just because they are illegal doesn't mean that guys cannot get hold of them. Drugs are illegal aren't they? How many millions of people are there out there that are using them?

One more question...If someone chokes on a chicken bone, shall we ban chickens? Cars cause thousands of deaths a year, why not ban cars? Aeroplanes cause hundreds of deaths in one go, why not ban aeroplanes? I don't see why smoking still hasn't been banned yet? Why is it that whatever the media says, everyone believes?????!!! Why why why!? Oh well, I could go on forever, but, my hands are getting tired, and I have to to go and do something else, so, goodbye!
