CHILDHOOD
I was very close to my cousins when we were children. We often went to one another's house to play games like "Zero-Point" and Monopoly. Life was very carefree and uncomplicated then.
Though Pa was too busy working to care, Mom was very strict with me and my sister. When she was not pulling our ears to do homework, she was accompanying us to piano and swimming classes. Thanks to her, not only was I generally well-behaved as a child, I also managed to get fairly decent grades in school.
