UNIVERSITY Chemical Engineering was the course I took in university. I wanted to be an engineer and I liked Chemistry. Competition was tough and workload was heavy. I needed a break from lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions. So I joined a choral singing club and a computer club. I also stayed at a hostel to know more people. Economy was bad in 1998, so I stayed on to do Masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering. I still had to find a job after graduating in 2001. |
