| The Sailor Scouts found themselves returned to a park in Tokyo. Sailor Moon was happy to see familiar surroundings and the quiet beauty of the city in the moonlight. Sailor Mars said that they had to protect their world. | Nearby, Prince Dimando had located a suitable negative energy point. He planted a crystal into the ground and Black Lady used her power to transfer energy to it. The crystal began growing rapidly. The Sailor Scouts saw a beam of dark energy in the sky and ran towards it. | Their path was blocked by a woman. It was Black Lady, but the Sailor Scouts didn't know who she was. Then the Luna Ball reacted to Black Lady and moved towards her. Black Lady cradled it in her arms and said that Luna Ball was the only one who remembered her. The Sailor Scouts realized that Black Lady was Rini. They didn't know why she had changed. Black Lady said that no one loved her. |

| Sailor Moon said that Rini was loved by everyone, but Black Lady turned Luna Ball into an umbrella and used it to direct an energy blast at the Sailor Scouts. Black Lady was very powerful and the blast knocked all of the scouts down. She said that everyone hated her and that she hated the whole world in return. Mars and Mercury said that Rini had been brain-washed and her heart was being controlled. | Sailor Moon tried to talk to Rini, but Black Lady said she didn't want to be called that anymore. She blasted Sailor Moon and then fired spikes from the umbrella. Sailor Moon dodged them at first, but there were so many that she got pinned down. Black lady had Sailor Moon trapped and moved in for the kill. | |

| Tuxedo Mask's rose knocked the umbrella from Black Lady's grasp. Luna Ball attacked him, but he dodged it easily. Tuxedo Mask said that even a beautiful flower will wilt if fed dark energy. He told Rini to resist the evil influence. | Sailor Moon used the Silver Crystal and told Rini to remember her parents. | Rini remembered the day when everyone had forgotten her birthday. She was walking down the hall very sadly when she came to the door of a darkened room. |

| Party horns and noisemakers went off as the lights came up in the room. Everyone was there, as well as a beautiful cake. Her parents were sorry that Rini's birthday party was late, but they had come back from their business as soon as they could. Rini was very happy. They hadn't really forgotten after all. | As Black Lady remembered her real, loving parents she started to change back to little Rini. | Sailor Moon and the others held their breath as Rini's form shifted from child to adult
and back again... |
