Kaolinite had captured Serena's transformation brooch and imprisoned Tuxedo Mask. Serena started to cry.	The Sailor Scouts appeared but Kaolinite teleported away with her daimon and Tuxedo Mask. The girls noticed Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune fleeing into the night. Jupiter said that they must be after Serena's pure heart. A projected image of Kaolinite said that if Sailor Moon wanted to see Tuxedo Mask alive again, then she should come to the Tokyo Tower.
The Sailor Scouts all said that Serena shouldn't go to the tower because it was sure to be a trap and because she couldn't transform or use any of her powers. But Serena felt responsible because Tuxedo Mask had been captured while trying to help her.	Serena ran out of the building and saw Haruka and Michiru. She asked them for a ride and they sped off into the distance in Haruka's car. The other Sailor Scouts were dismayed. Mars was exasperated with Serena who seemed determined to do everything by herself.
