In other words, `nobody loves a soldier until the enemy is at the gate'. Pathetic.
Oh, and three cheers for deathbed conversions!

Q: What's more deadly than a lieutenant with a map?
A: A captain with a radio.
If you don't get it, it wasn't intended for you.

Military Law #1: if somebody owes you something, they will get PCS orders for a distant location soon afterwards.
