Conhece o mistério deste universo:

Reflete na lei deste universo:
quando o coração é bom, a alma torna-se maior;
quando o coração é mau, a alma torna-se menor.
Não existe bem nem mal, mas apenas vaidade.
Quando pensamos, algo se cria;
o que se cria adere-se a nós.
Logo, é apenas cada coração que faz surgir
ora o inferno, ora o paraíso.
Além do coração, não existe nenhum mundo.
Se o coração é puro e tranqüilo,
ao seu redor há um paraíso.
Se o coração é feio e inquieto,
seus arredores se infernizam por si mesmos.
Não odeies nem invejes o teu próximo,
nem sejas odiado ou invejado pelos outros.
Deus não concede diretamente infelicidade ou felicidade:
a gente as adquire voluntariamente;
a gente as recebe dos outros.
