In The Name Of Love / Ga Oi Gee Ming (Cantonese) (a)
Withered Flower / Fa See Liu (Cantonese) (b)
Disc 2
Bonus VCD (making of "To Love" MTV)
Josh's $0.02: This is Faye's debut Sony album after a long two year absence since "Faye Wong" (2001). Faye wrote and composed 3 songs ("To Love", "No Staying", and "Sunflower") and also composed "April Snow" (and "In The Name Of Love"). She also produced the album with Zhang Yadong. "Passenger/Withered Flower" is a cover of the Sophie Zelmani song "Coming Home". Nicholas Tse contributes once again by composing "MV", short for music video. This album contains some wonderful alterna-Faye songs, funky Zhang Yadong compositions, moving Lin Xi lyrics, and some pretty ballads. Overall the track selection fits together nicely and I highly recommend this album. My Fayevourite tracks so far include "No Staying", "Sunflower", and "April Snow". Hits include: the title track, "Merry-Go-Round", and "No Staying".
Note: The songs with letters in parentheses above have the same musical arrangement. "In The Name Of Love" has been banned by Chinese government censors due to the lyrics "opium is warm and sweet" and does not appear on the mainland version of the album. Also, an "All-In" DVD+CD edition of the album was released in May 2004 containing non-karaoke MTVs of all 10 Mandarin songs from the album, plus a 20 page booklet.
