Anime Trading Rules

Request Rules and Information

• NO foriegn requests. Sorry, but it's just too much trouble for me.
• All titles listed are subtitled and taped in SP unless otherwise noted. Also I've been trading for awhile, so take the tape quality ratings with a grain of salt. I don't have time to watch everything again to make sure.
• {x} in the Notes section of my Anime List means that the title should be requested in groups of x. For example, Bastard 1-6 {4}, should be requested as 1-4 or 5-6, not 2-6 nor 1-2 on one tape and 3-4 on another.
• Maximum of 3 tapes per request in SP speed only!
• You MUST email and get permission before sending in your request. Include the following inside your email:
  • Name:
  • Address:
  • E-mail Address:
  • Titles:
  • Alternate Titles:
• When you receive permission, you MUST include the following when you mail in your payment.
  • Self addressed Mailing Label -- please write clearly as it will be used when we send you your tapes. You can get free Priority mail labels from the Post Office.
  • A letter containing all the information required in the email -- this information is to verify that I'm sending the right stuff to the right person.
• Mixing and matching of titles is allowed, but don't get carried away.
• You must wait until you receive your tapes before placing another request.
• Fees required are: ($3 per tape, $3 for postage, $1 for mailer)
  • 1 VHS Tapes -- $7
  • 2 VHS Tapes -- $10
  • 3 VHS Tapes -- $13
• Payment can be made by money order or check. Send cash at your own risk. I like Postal money orders, since I can cash them when I goto the post.
• I normally use TDK-HiFi T120. If you want something other than this, then you MUST use the SASE method.
• If something other than standard degredation is wrong with your copy, I will gladly re-do it for you, but I cannot be held responsible for things that happen to it during transit.

SASE Rules

• As above in the Request Rules and Information section.
• You MUST use a bubble envelope as your return envelope with the appropriate postage. If you send the fiber envelopes, I will send the tapes back to you, unfilled.
• You MUST include a post-it note on each tape with the title(s) you want on it, your name and address, and your email address.
• The tapes MUST be unopened, and be one of the following brands. If you want to use a brand that's not listed here, email me for permission first.
  • Maxell: Gold or better
  • TDK: EHG or better
  • Fuji: 510s, 611s, SHG, Pro or better
• Please make sure you write clearly, because if you have to depend on my writing skills, who knows where you package will end up.

Trade Rules

• Pretty much done on an individual trade basis. I'm pretty flexible.

• Titles that have been released by a US company will be removed from my list. Please support the US companies by purchasing the released Anime titles.
• Since I can't always keep track of what's out, please let me know if a title is listed that's commercially available.
• Constructive criticism is always welcome, but blatant flames will be ignored.
