Origin- Norman Osborn was the co owner of a chemical manufacturing company and business partners with Mendell Stromm. One day, Osborn discovered Stromm and embezzled money from the company and railroaded him to prison for ten years. With Stromm incarcerated, Osborn stumbled onto notes for a formula. Deciding that the formula might be worth something, Osborn decided to re create the formula, however it exploded right in his face nearly killing him. After he recovered, Osborn discovered that not only his strength had been raised, but his speed and intellegence as well. Unfortunately, the explosion also drove Osborn mad which gave way to the birth of his alter ego, the Green Goblin.
