June 1940
Dunkirk, France
“Feind Flunfzuege! 10:00!” Hans Meyer shouted out to warn his fellow Luftwaffe pilots about the three RAF fighter planes sneaking in unnoticed, inside his Messershmitt fighter. In a matter of seconds, shots rang out from all sides effectively damaging one another. But with superior numbers, the RAF planes were soon reduced to exploding fireballs, spiraling to the ocean below. “Sehr Gut! Ja!” Meyer thought to himself before signaling his comrades to attack the many British transport ships, overflowing with soldiers, desperately trying to reach safe haven in England.
Meyer was the first to nosedive into the heart of enemy fire and released his bomb that slammed into a British ship with immense power. Fire shot upward as many Allied soldiers were soon consumed with the killing flames, many others simply abandoned ship. As Meyer looked around he saw even more German planes coming in over the horizon to help pound the already wounded Allied withdraw. Meyer’s lips curled into a smile. In mere hours the British would suffer their worst defeat of the war. The withdraw was classified as a failure. Two days later, under harsh criticism Roosevelt would declare war on Nazi Germany, and later the whole Axis.

Japanese Navy Headquarters, Tokyo
Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto sat nervously in his office chair in Tokyo. He was anxiously awaiting news from the battle between the Imperial and American fleets in the ocean around Saipan. Yamamoto was desperate to wipe out the American naval power in hopes he could lighten the load of the Japanese troops in China. Early in May, the Americans had done exactly what Yamamoto had feared and repeadltly warned his colleges about. They had totally rearmed and were full of anger for the Japanese, due to the shelling of American cities by Japanese submarines. Later in May, the Americans had aided the Chinese in a massive counterattack that slaughtered thousands of Japanese troops, and lost much needed land. It was a mystery to the Japanese High Command how exactly the Americans had gotten so many troops into China.
“Admiral Yamamoto, sir!” a small young officer said when he burst into Yamamoto’s chambers and greeted him with a salute. “Four Japanese carriers have been sunk.”
“And just how many American ships were sunk?”
“Three, sir.”
“I see.” Yamamoto said as he bit his lip and turned toward his window.
“I’m afraid there is more bad news sir. Rumors are circulated that the Americans and British are going to land somewhere in Europe. But there is some good news. German forces have launched a massive drive into the Soviet Union. We still may be able to link up with them and—“
“That is all I need to hear. Dismissed.” Yamamoto interrupted. The officer quietly saluted and left.
April 1943
Japanese Army Headquarters, Harbin
“General Ishii. It is an honor to see you again.” Said Colonel Mayu Nagoshi as he gave a deep bow. Ishii smiled and replied
“It is nice to hear from you again too. But who is your friend?” Ishii looked at the man standing next to Ishii, wearing his military uniform too. The man had a short beard and mustache and Ishii felt uneasy around him for some reason. Ishii saw Nagoshi as a very good soldier and obidient figure; this other man looked like someone who came from a mental asylum.
“This is Dr. Katsuhiko Yoshida. He is one of my top researchers at Unit 731.” Nagoshi announced. Yoshida gave a salute as well.
“How are all our operations proceeding in China, Colonel?” Ishii asked as he slumped into a nearby chair.
“Not well, sir. This is exactly why I asked to speak with you. Katsuhiko, please continue.” Nagoshi said as he sat down as well.
“Yes sir. You see sir, our latest deployment of biological agents upon Chinese guerrillas was not nearly as successful as we’d had hoped. However, we think we have a few new weapons that I think you’ll like, sir. They are our own soldiers.”
“What do you mean, ‘our own soldiers’, Doctor?” Ishii asked impatiently.
“I’m glad you asked, sir. My research team and I have been looking into the possibilities of using the human brain as a weapon since the summer of 1936. Through much surgery, countless drugs and stimulants and the injections of a few serums, we have finally created a prototype of the perfect killing machine. The test subject was a simple Chinese peasant whose name escapes me at the moment. He has shown us that the subjects are almost completely drained of any emotions and that they use a significant higher percentage of their minds.”
“And since they express almost no emotions, they are extreme obedient as well. The test subject tore his own brother apart with his mind, when ordered to.” Nagoshi interrupted.
“With his mind? You’re bluffing aren’t you? This is complete fiction!” Ishii said.
“No sir. We have made a film if you want to see it. The subject possessed Telekinesis, Psychokenisis and other bizarre yet fascinating powers.” Yoshida said. Nagoshi smiled and said
“With your permission, we’d like to create an entire squadron of these men. Well sir, will you help us help humanity in it’s next evolution?”
June 1944
Allied headquarters, London
The sun burned down upon England that day. It was the first day in two weeks where it didn't rain. It was admired by General Dwight Eisenhower as he stared out a window in the large room of the Allied complex.
"General Eisenhower, sir. I'd like to congradulate you on a superb job of kicking the bastard Krauts out of Africa. And General Rommel was killed in the process!" a lowley Colonel(whose name Eisenhower had forgotten) said.
"Thank you General, however they put up the stiffest resitance I had seen in this war. Let me just say we also had a huge number of casulaties as well. I think the germans and the italians are beginning to get sick of eachother. You could see how pathetic the italians were when the helped try to invade the Balkans, Russia, and the Middle East."
"Yes sir! But the Krauts and the Japs linked up with eachother in India last August." replied the Colonel.
"Right, so good old Adolf and that bastard Hirohito still love eachother. I thought we had gotten rid of the Japanese in China. Are these guys going to keep throwing their 19 year old kids at us forever?"
"Your right, sir. We had the Japs running scared until late of '43. Then entire brigades got wiped out. They were probably Nip guerrilla attacks. But the Navy is finally doing something right, they at last began to really kick the hell outta of Yamoyo--Yamayata or whatever his name is fleet. We're almost near the Phillipines, sir."
"Yes, and I also hear there is some spooky new Axis weapon that will turn the sides around. Truth is, they aren't doing so bad. But I hear the Russians are gonna throw everything they have against the Nazis in a last ditch effort. But that needs to be discu-- by the way Colonel...what's your name again?"
"Patton, sir. Colonel Patton."
February 1945
SS headquarters, Berlin
In a dark, poorly lit room in the Berlin SS building, two men sat around a large wooden round table. They had moved their meetings to the basement due to the increasing number of Allied planes above their city and wanted the meetings uninterrupted. Their names were Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler and SD Security Chief Obergruppenfuhrer Reinhard Heydrich.
"Everything is set up Herr Reichsfuhrer. All we need is the go ahead from the Fuhrer." Heydrich stated.
"So, you've located the two men we need for this assignment? Remember, we've just got to have that new weapon from our Japanese allies before the Russians wipe us out." Himmler said sternly.
"Ja Wohl sir. Here are the two men." said Heydrich as he opened a manila folder and removed two pictures. "This is Emil Felder, currently a Schutze. He has all the qualifications we are looking for. Obeying, stupid, somewhat sadistic and can speak Japanese almost flawlessy." he said pointed to a picture of a young man in a black SS uniform.
"Are you sure about using this kid? He looks a little crazy." Himmler said with a face of dead emotions. "Who is this other man?" Himmler pointed to another picture of a man in a black SS uniform.
"That is Untersturmfuhrer Jens Volkmann. I think we should appoint him as the head of the project. He is a genius with organization. Plus, since Felder is an idiot, we need somebody to keep him from screwing everything up." Heydrich said with a laugh.
Himmler examined the picture carefully for a few minutes. His hand on his chin, legs crossed and staring forcefully at the two pictures, he finally said "You have my approval Reinhard. And I'm sure the Fuhrer will go along as well. But I just hope these two are reliable. Our atomic bomb tests proved negative. The British and Americans have finally cleared out North Africa and the Russians and us have reached a stalemate on the outskirts of Poland. We need something like Unit 233 to help us win this damned war. I don't even care if the Japanese made it. Hell, I wouldn't care if the Slavs made it just as long as it does everything it said in the report."
Heyrich stared at his superior for a moment and said "It better. Or else we'll be living under in the Soviet German Republic. We'll have to promote Volkmann a few ranks and give Felder one to so they keep their mouths shut. Just to be careful, Herr Reichsfuhrer."
"Sehr Gut. I want to set up the conference as soon as you get the first chance."
"Ja Wohl! I'll be going to Poland next week to inform them."
"Good Luck Reinhard."
Then Himmler and Heyrich gave eachother a Hitler salute.
