OLD NEWS

Dec.31 - It took an hour to clear off the mountain of snow on my car and clear a path in the driveway. Sooo much snow.

Dec.30 - Hibernating while the world turns white.

Dec.29 - I walked around the mall for 3 hrs looking for something to wear to a wedding. Tring to find something warm, stylish, not too flashy, and respectable for the occasion and people is tough. I didn't buy anything. I came home and it ends up that my dad and I are not going to the wedding afterall.

Dec.28 - Had good Japanese food and watched the movie Frequency on a warm sofa. What else can you ask for in a night?

Dec.27 - Our old heater started flying sparks so I went to Sears to pick up a radiator style heater. Heat good, cold bad.

Dec.25 - Merry Xmas! Did you know the movie theaters are still open today? Too bad I didn't get the chance to catch one. Oh well, more Diablo II.

Dec.24 - Today is a day of hibernating. Read some books, eat some of dad's cooking, and warm my feet in the blankets.

Dec.23 - 21 questions later my life has changed. Not in a dramatic way that the my heart stops and my mind turns blank, but in a warm glowing way that I gradually realize how much I will love everything in my life from today on.

Dec.22 - Road trip down to NYC! We visited an 80 year old grandma on the way down to flushing, and it was a miracle we even found her house. She was so surprised and excited to see us she acted more like a little girl than an old lady. It's always nice to brighten up someone's day.

Dec.21 - I must have glued a thousand envelopes today. My thumb is numb, my eyes are sore, but it's always nice to be able to help out.

Dec.20 - Resident halls closed and everyone's gone. 2 hour drive home and I realized I had forgotten my house keys in the dorm. I'm such a klutz.

Dec.19 - You never know how important you are in someone else's life. Learn to treat people with the same importance they treat you. Let someone into your heart as they have let you into theirs. There's a special space in my heart for you, Baby, don't be sad.

Dec. 19 - Frank Sinatra. I've been listening to his music ever since I watched "What Women Want". Mel Gibson dancing to "I won't dance" gets me in a good mood. =)

Dec. 18 - WOW.. Ann and Debbie bought me a cue stick for Xmas. WOW... never would have guessed that as my present, but it's such a perfect gift. THANK YOU!!!

Dec. 17 - I'm on disk 4 of Final Fantasy IV. I ran through the game too fast and didn't collect all the stuff. Guess that means I gotta do it all over again. heehee.

Dec. 16 - I'm so hooked on watching the Japanese version of the Card Captor Sakura. Anime is best when there's more than 30 episodes.

Dec. 15 - Debbie's friend rode the train all the way from California to New York. Took him 5 days with a short stop in Chicago. We showed him Albany and we ate at Ichiban.

Dec. 14 - Playing pool after getting a flu shot is not a good idea... but pain killers and caffine will help the pain.

Dec. 12 - NYDOT has job openings for me! I'm gonna interview for the Mobility Management Section of the Planning & Strategy Group in the Main Office of the NYDOT in Albany shortly after Xmas. YAY!

Dec. 11 - ASCE Xmas Party!! I've been dressing up for the past 3 days. NO, I'm not a waitress, it's called an APRON DRESS! Oh, and today is Nicole's Bday.

Dec. 10 - Who would have thought that Albany had DimSum? I was surprised when I walked in Tai Pan and saw Plum Blossom's manager there. I thought I was hallucinating.

Dec. 09 - PARTY!! Two friends had their graduation party today. I had lots of fun drinking and dancing. My neighbor is definitely fun when she's drunk. =) And when will ppl #$%&ing remember my name?

Dec. 08 - I borrowed a playstation from my good friend Pete. These days I've been playing it in bed. Perfect activity while hibernating.

Dec. 07 - My application to State of New York Department of Transportation has been reviewed. I received a rating of 85%. Now I just gotta wait for a position to be available.

Dec.05 - Watched 60 Minutes and was amazed by this Boy Wonder, Sho Yano. He's 10 yrs old, attends college, and is sooo gifted. Glad to see he's making the most of his gift. Wish I made the most of what I had.

Dec.04 - I feel like my life is like a big Friends/Melrose Place/90210 or any soap opera show. It's a small world afterall.

Dec.03 - I've done nothing all weekend. TV, laundry, maybe a little playstation. I'd go out and do something, but it's just too cold out.

Nov.29 - We did a 60 sec Sell Yourself excersize in PDIII today. I think I did pretty well. The speech is posted up for you to read.

Nov.28 - I played 3 hours of Legend of Dragoon. I am sooooooo hooked. Damn it, why is play station 2 so expensive? =( I wanna play Final Fantasy IX too. And I haven't even played enough Diablo 2. So many games, so little time.
