OLD NEWS
Feb.28 - Wednesday. A day where I should
be resting since I got no class, but it has turned into meetings
and homework nite. Soils homework at the Union. I think every Civil
person camps out in the Union doing their hw on wednesdays. It's
scary.
Feb.27 - Humm.. I suddenly feel I gotta
get going with work. How did I get so behind?! I guess I've been
caught up in reading books and magazines as well as internet shopping.
I should do some job hunting too.
Feb.26 - I'm putting together this notebook
of all the stuff I like in the magazines I buy. That way I can
profile My Style and keep track of what I should look for when
I shop (as well as skip when it doesn't fit profile). The other
side of the notebook lists workouts and eating habits that I should
stick to and keep in mind.
Feb.25 - Haven't played volleyball in so
long but we still kicked butt. I did much better than last time
but I have to say Mike and Pete stole the show. Oh and Pat has
mad ups, he's gonna be my idol because I can't jump. I can't do
sports pretty much sums it up but hey, one thing at a time.
Feb.24 - Went back to Ginger Man and OH
MY GOD they have good chocolate mousse. It's better than chocolate
ice cream, and I love chocolate ice cream so believe me. I'm still
working on finishing one glass of wine... I'm up to half a glass
rite now.
Feb.23 - ARGH... not enough sleep, catching
a flu or something, and I'm addicted to reading Will & Grace
episodes on the net. We also watched Benny & Joon on DVD,
it's a contemp classic with Johnny Depp. Very chick flick movie
and full of good tips on how to win a girl's heart.
Feb.22 - I rented the RV for spring break!
A large RV for 8 nights and 3000 miles for only $1550. The 9 of
us are driving down to Florida, then coming back up to New Orleans
on the way home. I'm wondering whether or not to be the road trip
queen, I've never acted outrageous in my life and this will probably
the last chance of my life. What do you think?
Feb.21 - All I wanted to do today was read,
and I finished the whole Shadow of the Hegemon in one day.
Ann says I read fast, and I guess I do when it comes to the right
kind of book. Oh, and say Happy Birthday to Pinkie.

Feb.20 - I woke with a HUGE monkey on my
back. But guess what? I studied 1/2 hour before the exam and finished
the exam with no problem. I even got help with my Mass Transit
hw and got a team to work with for the next project. I had 2.5
outta 3 of my tasks done b4 I had my lunch, which Dave brought
to me while I finished the remainder of my lab. The "helpful
people" section of my feng shui must really be in high gear.
Buh bye monkey on my back.
Feb.19 - UGH... presidents day means homework
day. I gotta study with Adolph for Soil quiz, write up Soil lab
report with Luke, and I'm in desperate need to find someone to
help me with my Mass Transit hw. I'm desperate for time and help
and damn the Union copier machine for being out of order.
Feb.18 - Playstation day, or week, or month...
I dunno, but that's what I've been watching people do lately.
I've been more interested in reading than gaming these days, dunno
why. Too lazy to cook, let's order out.
Feb.17 - Saratoga for dinner.My chicken
was a bit too lemony, but potatos were good. The nite was colder
than a witch's tit. I had dropped my ID in my car back in Troy
too, so that sucked. But we spent the nite at The Wine Bar and
the owner is not much older than us, figure that?
Feb.16 - We had dinner at one of my favorite
restaurants, Ginger Man's, in Albany and watched Sweet November
(yummy Keanu and gorgeous Charlize) afterwards. I got to do all
that I wanted tonite, and no more bucket seat. =p
Feb.15 - It's an all girls nite, we do
nails, hair coloring, facial masks, and eating food while watching
our favorite prime time TV shows. Mmm.. ok, it's an all girls
couple of hours. =p
Feb.14 - It kinda sucks when Valentine's
day is on a weekday and you got tons of work to do... well it's
even worse when only ONE of you has tons of work and the other
can only be of service. But I'll make most of what I can. Flowers
and chocolate.
Feb.12 - We won the volleyball game against
MASA! It's been so long since I've played volleyball, and I was
looking forward to playing again. So I'm kinda disappointed that
I didn't perform well. But there's always the next game! =)
Feb.11 - Renting an RV down to Florida
for spring break? Humm.. not a bad idea. Travel and hotel cost
all in one. Now if only my DayTrip system was actually completed
by spring break we could use it on this road trip.
Feb.10 - The most PERFECT morning. The
kind of morning that you forget what time it is and what you have
to do the rest of the day. All there is to do is do what you like
and feel fortunate to live your life.
Feb.09 - Can you believe I had a flat tire?
Soo flat the rim was touching the ground. I knew I had trouble
with the steering wheel (i thought I just never noticed how off
my alignment was) and stepping on the breaks (slippery road?)
Good thing I insisted to my dad that I have a full tire along
with a spare. =) Thanks Dave!
Feb.08 - Keanu's new movie "Sweet
November" is coming out on Feb.16. Me wanna see... I
have a feeling it's gonna be put on my favorite movie list. What
could be more visually pleasing than Keanu and Charlize? (Devil's
Advocate)
Feb.07 - I totally forgot about the Alumni
House Career Fair today, but luckily Chanda went and can share
info with me. I was late to lease signing, but I found Chris so
he shared the info with me. I must say that today is a close call
today. My "helpful people" ba-gua corner must be doing
something rite.
Feb.06 - You'd be amazed how many people
you run into more than once a day. I've must have switched paths
with Ivonne and Yoon at least twice today. Who did you run into
today?
Feb.05 - SNOWBALL FIGHT!!! So much fun,
and I have to say that my aim isn't bad at all. I guess after
weeks and weeks of kickboxing I've become buff and aggressive,
and I've really shown it today. =) TACKLE!!
Feb.04 - Went back to Ocean Palace to have
dimsum with the girls from last nite. They brought new friends
and so did we. They've invited us to their other events, and I
have a feeling we'll have as much fun as this weekend.
Feb.03 - Went to CASA & SUNY Albany
Chinese New Year dinner. Met new friends: Carol, Lisa, Michelle,
Flora, Diane, and Susan. I would have to say that our table was
the most sociable of the whole restaurant.
Feb.02 - Went house hunting with Chris,
Pete, Will, and Amy. The first house was so nice, looking at the
other 5 places was just a waste of time. You should come visit
me sometime. =)
Feb.01 - I was gonna go to On Broadway
tonite, but I ended up reading Ender's Shadow and finishing
it. I guess a really good book is much pleasurable than lousy
cheap drinks and strangers.
