OLD NEWS
Jan. 27 - UGH... I just had the most tiresome week. I worked 50 hours this week and most of them were 12 hour days. And then Mike's mom came over so I had to clean up the house the nite before after working 12 hours. And then it took me 5 hours (normally 2 1/2) just to drive up to see Mike this weekend. A tractor trailer turned over on I-87 at exit 17, so I was driving in bumper to bumper traffic for 4 hours. I need a vacation.
Jan. 20 - I passed my EIT/FE! (Engineer in Trainging exam/Fundamentals of Engineering exam) WOOHOO go me!! Well yeah I only passed with a margin of one point, but a PASS is a PASS and I don't have to take that gruesome 8 hour exam again! Humm.. you think I'll get a raise next year for this? That would be sweet.
Jan. 12 - Let's see... Christmas was ok. Mike's parents came up to NY for business. Mike and I went to help out with mailing labels. My cousin came over before Christmas and we went shopping. She left the day before Christmas for Taiwan. I bought myself half a dozen plates from William Sonota for Christmas. Goes great with the table napkins Debbie got me for Christmas. I met up with Ann and Manny for dinner a few days after Christmas. They seem to be doing fine. I went to Neal's high school friend's pent house in NYC for New Year's Eve. It's not as great as it sounds. Four people are crammed into a space what would be just enough for two people. They have a nice view of the city, but you can't see Time Square or the ball. You can only see a sign or two at Time Square. So we ran down a few blocks an hour before midnight to see if we can catch a view of the ball. No luck. But we went into Time Square after midnight and saw the aftermath. We saw the "2002" and MTV studios.
