May 11 - Mike's done with his spring semester. He came down to visit for a day but has to go to the monestary tomorrow. I was expecting us to have more time together but I guess it doesn't matter since I'm not really up for doing anything because my mouth hurts. Somehow half of my bottom lip and chin are still numb. I'm gonna talk to the dentist about it on my check up on Friday.
May 10 - I got two of my wisdom teeth pulled out. One was an impacted tooth and the other was crooked. Pete gave me a ride to and from the dentist office before he left for Albany. Mike teased me and asked whether or not I looked like a chipmunk. I paniced for a moment as I thought Pete told Mike that I looked like a chipmunk. Well they are a little swollen but not as bad as I expected. I don't even need pain killers. Half of my lower lip and chin are numb and I wonder why.
May 8 - My landlord's dad made a dent on my driver's door. It's not so bad, but as my coworker said: "Business is business". At first I was hesitant since I am afraid of confrontations, but my coworker said that I'm actually doing them a favor if I talk to them before I talk to the police. It's a hit and run incident since they didn't come to me first about it. So I calmly talked with my landlord and we're settling without the insurance company involved. I just take the damage out of my next month's rent. I'm comfortable with that.
May 6 - The "Beautiful Life" with Takuya Kimura finally arrived. It took almost a week. I read online reviews that this is one of the top three Popular Japanese Dramas.
May 4 - It was such a nice day out that we decided to have a BBQ. Somehow I ended up having the responsiblity to buy everything for "20" people. Now I can handle 10, but paying for 20 people who don't even lift a finger I have a problem with. So I decided that I was just gonna buy what I wanted to eat (I was in the mood for chicken so I didn't buy ground beef) and whatever we didn't have for the BBQ (charcoal and plates). I was in such a pissy mood b/c of the unwanted responsiblity that Mike smartly stayed away from me until I cooled down. =p
