This was the first season of SM, and introduced the characters. We meet the inner senshi and learn about them as they transform into sailor soldiers. Much of the past is revealed -- such as how Princes Selenity and Prince Endymion had been in love. The girls fight the Four Generals -- and their youma. Eventually the four are killed off, one by one. This leave only Queen Beryl, whom Sailormoon, as Princess Selenity, must battle. All the senshi are killed, but brought back to life with their memories erased.
SAILORMOON'S ROLE:
Well, she defeated Queen Beryl and Metalia didn't she? She also had the Ginzuishou, the whole basis of the series.
REVELATIONS:
Usagi is Princess Selenity & Sailormoon. Mamoru is Tuxedo Kamen and Prince Endymion. The inner senshi girls are senshi. Queen Selenity is Usagi's mama. Luna and Artemis can talk ;)
