Soryuden, (also known as Soryuuden, Souryuden, Sohryuden, The Legend of the Dragon Kings, The Legend of the Four Kings etc.), is originally novel-based written by Tanaka Yoshiki and illustrated by CLAMP (up to volume 13 so far). It has also been turned into a 12-episodes anime by Toshiharu Murata.

It is actually a story of the 4 brothers and their cousin. The 4 brothers were reincarnations of dragon kings (of the North, South, East & West seas) and their powers were not yet unleashed at this point in time, in modern Japan. However, soon after, many different groups of people were after them for their various selfish reasons. Some believe that drinking dragon's blood will evoke longevity; others feel that these 4 brothers can be powerful destructive weapons.

Thus the chase and battle goes on between the brothers and the "evil" enemies. Of how each brothers' powers are unleashed one at a time, and of how they have to help extract their cousin Mitsui from their enemies' grasps...

Introducing the Ryudo brothers and their cousin:

RYUDO Hajime
The oldest brother, 23 years old, and personally, i think he's the most gorgeous!!! He turns into Gou Kou, the Blue Dragon King of the East Sea, with control over gravity.

RYUDO Tsuzuku
The second brother, 19 years old, and is considered the most attractive of all four brothers. *hmmm* He's quiet, even-tempered; basically, just hard to annoy. He turns into Gou Shyou, the Red Dragon King of the South Sea, with control over fire.

RYUDO Owaru
The third brother, 15 years old, and is the most athletic, most talkative and also eats the most! He turns into Gou Jyun, the White Dragon King of the West Sea, with control over air.

RYUDO Amaru
The youngest brother, 13 years old, and is sweet-tempered and a 'dreamer'. He is the first to come into his dragon power. He turns into Gou En, the Black Dragon King of the North Sea, with control over water.

TOBA Matsuri
Their sweet cousin, 18 years old, whom they dote on a lot. Unfortunately since she's the brothers' "weak" point, she gets kidnapped alot too! But not to worry, coz the brothers will come straight to her rescue!!! (lucky her... ^.^ ) She is also the reincarnation of the youngest daughter of Seioupo, a Goddess Queen in Heaven. Her name was Taishinou Fujin.
       

The original soundtrack is composed by Nobuo Eguchi with a total running time of 65:13.
