    Name:  Nuts, Cat
    Age:  Feeling pretty old
    Location:around
   School: NYU-Stern

Stuff I do
Writing: I have mixed feelings about writing. I love writing short stories, poetry, journals, letters, etc., but i hate expository writing. Or so i thought. I'm learning to actually somewhat enjoy writing essays, and that's a thought that really really really scares me. As for my creative writing, I like to do it as often as i get a chance to, which isn't very often indeed. I tend to jot down a quick poem in class and lose it among my notes later on. Lately I've been attempting to pen down a short journal entry before I go to bed at night. Not a journal entry as in a diary entry, but more on ideas and thoughts that I've had throughout the day.
Singing:  I love singing, however, that doesn't necessarily mean that i'm very good at it. It's just something that I enjoy doing. Back in high school I had a group of friends that messed around in an A cappella group that we named Seven of Spades. I don't know how decent it was (pretty decent, i hope) but it was fun and i enjoyed it. Otherwise it's just basically singing to songs that i'm familiar with. I've recently found, in college, that singing can mean so much more than just belting out a melody...more on that in Truth.
Sports:  Basically, me and sports don't really mix. I hate running and I've found that I'm pretty uncoordinated. The combination of these two facts isn't very helpful in sports. However, there is the expection of Ultimate Frisbee and Tennis (which i also manage to lack skills in). I'm not really good at these sports, but I enjoy playing them. Ultimate Frisbee is possibly the greatest sport in the world.  If you have never played Ultimate you wouldn't know what it feels like to be on connected team, holding that round plasitic thing known as a disc. I'm bad at it, and i don't hold any claims that i'm an authority on the subject, but it's a good and misunderstood sport. There's tennis...the sport that I've been playing since third grade and still manage to suck at.  How is this possible...I don't know.  It's also the only sport that I actually follow...
Reading:  I'm pretty much a bookworm. I enjoy reading a lot and wish that I had more time to read. Some of my favorites:
Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien (my favorite book(s))
The Solitare Mystery by Jostien Gaarder
Sophie's World by Jostien Gaarder
The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas
The World According to Garp
The Redwall Series by Brian Jacques
The Harry Potter Series by J. R. Rowling
Other Stuff:  I have a wide range of things that I like doing, but that I don't always get the time to do. I would like to work on my homepage more and to learn more about computer in general, but the outcome of that remains to be seen. In addition, I'm attempting to continue my study of chinese outside of the classroom, but that's a little difficult also, but it's not worth it if it's easy, right?

Stuff I like
Music:  Basically I listen to all different types of music, with the exception of country (which gives me a headache) and stuff containing profane language (which i just find unpleasant in general).  To this degree I have been know to listen to Christian music, A capella, Pop, Soft Rock, Rock, Techno, Trance, Classical, Disney stuff, and music in other languages.  My favorite groups and artists are Ball in the House, Jars of Clay, Blessid Union of Souls and Bebo Norman.
    Favorites:
Heart of Worship
Jars of Clay - Flood, Tea and Sympathy
Ball in the House - Waiting, More, Burned, Crawlin'
Blessid Union of Souls(favorite group) - I believe, Light in Your Eyes, Nora, Jelly in Her Arms, Standing at the Edge of the Earth,
Bebo Norman(favorite solo singer) - Hammer Hold, Walk Down this Mountain, Stand, etc. (basically everything also)
Richard Marx - Right Here Waiting
Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge over Troubled Waters
    Bjork - Army of Me
Train - Drops of Jupiter
Movies:  I like watching movies if I have the time or the money for them. I'm a big sci-fi/fantasy fan but I'll watch anything that seems appealing to me. Usually I'm not so good with scary movies and lewd humor doesn't fly well with me.    favorites:
    Star Wars
    The Lion King
    The Usual Suspects
    Dune
TV: Thankfully, I don't watch as much TV as I used to, but I'll watch random stuff that seems interesting when i have the time. Generally if they TV is just on it'll be on some sort of Music channel, cuz I always need my music.
