Kawaguchiko is actually a lake near Mount Fuji. There are
a total of 5 lakes scattered around Mount Fuji.
We stayed at a hotel called Kawaguchiko Hotel.
The hotel faces Lake Kawaguchiko and the view is breathtaking!
Kawaguchiko Hotel is actually a traditional Japanese Inn
and you get to wear summer kimonos and slippers!
Best of all, you get to soak in a Japanese bath!
It is not an outdoor natural spring but in a big common
bathroom.
If you're shy to go all buff in front of all the strangers,
there is also a private bathroom in your rooms.
For me, I tried the traditional bath of course!
It was an experience that you must have while in Japan.
Okay, here now are some pictures.

This is a picture of Lake Kawaguchiko.
I took this photo at around 6.30 am from my room's window.
I thought the day would be misty and foggy and miserably
cold but boy, was I wrong!

The mist slowly lifted and the day is beautiful!
See, the view is breathtaking from our hotel!

Ah!!! The elusive Mount Fuji!
We were really lucky that day. The weather is fantastic!
We get to see Mount Fuji without the annoying fog
that is always hovering around it's top.

The name of the hotel, with Mount Fuji as a background.

This is a shot of our room. What can I say, we're messy girls!
