Free Health Screening
On the 11th day of December 2005,SSSRC achieved another milestone, when it successfully launched a "Healthy Living" Campaign to promote health awareness among the community. To make this campaign a reality, the lion's Club of Bau was invited to conduct a free health screening in kampung Sebuluh. The Lion's Club of Bau, led by its President, Dr. Christopher Kiyui together with the assistance of Lion's Club of Kuching Allamanda, New Century Lion's Club of Kuching Emerald and Lion's Club of Kuching Cosmopolitan conducted the health screening on the 11th December 2005. Judging from the response, this program was a great success as approximately 170 people took part. We hope to make this program a annual event judging on it's positive response.
