American Waltham Watch Company, Appleton, Tracy & Co. Model, #1879, Size 18, open face, stem-wind, lever set, triple-hinged gold-filled case [warranted 25 years], 11-15 Jewels. The serial number of 1,768805 dates it to about 1881. This was the first antique pocket watch I ever bought. and I have held onto it over the years primarily for sentimental reasons.
