O hayo! Which translates to, "hello" in Japanese, visitors! Ever wondered what the words meant? Here's a useful guide by the KBML crew made just for you! We just wanted to prove to you that we weren't insane... The stuff we're saying aren't jibberish, but Japanese terms....

Terms in Fanfiction:
fanfiction - sometimes called 'fanfics', or simply 'fics'. These are stories written by fans. Usually classified according to content:
Angst - these are the sad stories. Fics that don't
have a happy ending, dark, violent or tragic fall under this
category.

Hentai - R 18 fics. It has very graphic
description on sex.

Lemon - lemon fics also feature sex scenes, and
considered R 18. However, lemon fics are not as graphic as hentai ones.
Lime - these are fics that have mild sex scenes or
none at all. A bit more intense than the regular romance fics, but it
really doesn't go as far as sex itself.

PWP -stands for
"Plot? What Plot?" Fics with no plot at all. *I dunno if we have this in the KB, I just saw this on other
archives

WAFF - stands for "Warm And Fuzzy
Feeling" *Is that with an s? Uh, honestly, I still don't know whar WAFF
means ^_^;;;;;;; Gomen!!!

Yaoi - uh, it means male/male relationship *is yaoi the same with Shounen Ai? <<-Did I get the spelling
right?

Yuri - yuri is just the opposite of yaoi. It means female/female.

*The following are Japanese terms
-chan- used to address close friends,
children and even crushes. Used by girls most of the time.

kun-used to address male friends, usually around the same age or younger.
-sama - used to show respect to someone who has a higher status level
-san- it's being polite and formal as well. It's
also used to show respect
aa/hai - yes
anata - it means 'you' and it's kinda sweet and playful when
lovers use it *Did I get that one right?

aishiteru - I love you *What's the name of the tournament? The "Ankoku"--something...
There were two right? ^_^;;;

arigatou (gozaimasu) - thank you
baka - stupid
chibi - small, little
daijoubu - Are you alright? Are you ok?
gambatte - usually followed by 'yo' or 'ne'. Means
"good luck" or "more power".

gomen (nasai) - I'm sorry
iie - no
imouto - younger sister
ja - usually followed by 'ne'. It means goodbye.
jagan - Hiei's third eye
kawaii - cute
kimono - Japanese outfit for women. The one that
Botan wears most of the time.

kitsune- fox spirit
konichiwa - it's a warm greeting, kinda like hello *is that one right? or does it mean 'good morning'?
koibito - lover
koishii -Dear,darling wanted, beloved
Kokuryuha- Hiei's black dragon*check the spelling please...
matte - wait
minna - everyone, everybody
o hayo - hello
obaasan - grandmother *I'm not sure about the spelling of this one...
ojiisan - grandfather *I'm still not sure about this one too... the i's are confusing
okaasan- mother
onegai - please
onesan - older sister *I'm also not sure about the spelling...
oniichan - older brother *same
thing goes for this one... I have such a bad memory ^_^;;;

otousan - father
owari- end
Rei-gun- Yusuke's basic attack. It's the blue ki
that comes from his finger tip

Rei ken - The spiritual sword of Kuwabara
sayonara - goodbye
sugoi - great
tomodachi - friend
tadaima - I'm back *uh... right?
yukata - similar to a kimono
