Everyone tells me this. Everyone says that Set 2-DragonballZ is the biggest, baddest, buffest, ruffest set of them all. And I would have to agree with them. If you ever want pure power, then look to Set 2. Set 0 can put up a pretty good fight, with Dr. Tofu and Ryo-Ohki and the sorts. Set 1, well, is Set 1. It's pretty hard to make a killer deck just of Set 1. Armitage is pretty powerful, and that's all. Anywho, DragonballZ has the most powerful Characters, but what makes them unique is that they have they have the skills and the energy to back it up. | There's only a few Characters like that from the first two sets, like Ryoko and the Ranmas and Tofu. Goku and Piccolo are the pick of the litter, both stacked in every aspect(Heck, Piccolo even looks better than most Nameks!). But that's just the start of it. With Global Effects like Power Up, Goku & Frineds (©) can be as high as they want to be, opponent permitting. Then there's massive Flash Effects like Genki-Dama and Divert Attack which cause many people to belive that this set is fas supirior to other sets. Not so. While Set 2 may have the brute force of the game, Set 0 and (gasp!) 1 have the finess and combo power. I'm not talking about Wrath of the Eye of God here (for once). That is sheer power. Nothing can match that. I'm talking the Citadel combo, the power of Shortcut, and the urge to rip up your nemesis Armitage after you've killed it twice. I'm talking about Tofu saving his little Ranma buddies, Tenchi coming to the rescue with Tsunami, and a whole bunch of crap like that. It's not the fun of clocking your opponent to death with reel big Characters. It's to win with style. Not by killing every last one of your oppoenets, but being fast and cleverly picking up all the items. This is what makes this game so great. And to win like that, it shows a true player.... Unless you really want to win, then you use DBZ :-) And that's all I have to say about that. |
