Suri smiled, and through his tears, his eyes shone in joy. "Have I ever told you that you are beautiful when you cry?"

That was all the proof Mercury needed. She threw herself into his arms, and cried harder than she had before. "Zoi... I'm so sorry... I tried to tell you... but it was so difficult... will you ever forgive me?"

Suri hugged her tightly, and answered, his voice trembling because of his own tears: "Don't be sorry Ami. I know. Just remember I love you. That's all that matters."

Mercury then looked at him, her eyes full of all the forgiveness he needed, and more. Mercury saw as his eyes showed his feelings too, and grinned faintly. So did he. Then, Suri leaned forward, and gently wiped the tears off her chins with his lips. Mercury closed her eyes, and relaxed in his arms. When he finished cleaning her face, he stopped, looked into her eyes, and kissed her. He covered her mouth with his, savoring the salty taste of her tears in them. Mercury answered back, tasting his own sadness on his lips.

And then, suddenly, Suri's body glowed a little, faintly so that none of them noticed (well, they wouldn't notice if the sky fell on their heads at that time), and he changed back to his former self. A spark of light flowed in his green hair, revolving around it like a tornado. When it disappeared, the green bangs had disappeared, leaving behind blonde locks of hair, already tied in a ponytail. The loose bang caressed their faces, waking them up.

They stopped kissing, and looked at each other. Mercury was the first to speak: "Zoi, do you really mean what you said?, about my future and that things?"

"Ami, believe in me. I know that we'll be happy together now, and that's all that matters. Don't worry about the future, we'll take care of it when it comes."

Mercury smiled, and hugged him. "You now what I missed the most the time we were apart?"

"What?"

"Your words of encouragement, your perfume, your caresses, your presence, and most of all, your kisses."

"Well, here goes another one, as a bonus…" He kissed her again bending down a little. She smiled in their kiss, he could feel it. When they broke apart, they were both smiling. "So, my angel, would you give me this dance?"

"Indeed. You owe me at least two full parties!"

"I'll make it up to you, if you promise me something."

"Whatever you want!"

"We have to finish out interrupted camping-day at Earth. You promised me we would fight in the sand, and we didn't." An impish grin appeared on her face.

"We didn't? I thought we had had enough playing for a while!"

Another impish smile appeared, this time on his face. "Ah, but I want to bury you in sand! I bet you'll never get out of it!"

"Wanna bet?"

"Ok. If I win, you'll have to wear that shorty-shorty Sailor Senshi fuku for me, for about, let's say a week."

Mercury smiled, knowing too well that he would ask that from the beginning. "Done. But if I win..."

"What?"

"You'll have to stay with me for a week, in the Moon"

"But, what about Endymion and the rest of the Generals?"

"Ah, we can say that you suddenly got ill, and you can't travel for a week or two..."

"Ami... you know I can't do that!"

"Why not, Prince Endymion has done it. I've seen it. I've even had to make the medical reports that confirm he was sick"

"Oh, so those things were yours? They fooled me quite well you know?"

"You read them?"

"Sure. I am the one in charge of everything related to the Generals' health, and that includes the prince."

"So, why wouldn't you get Plutonian fever for a couple of days?"

"Hmm, you are right, but... I'm not sure yet…"

"Not even for me?" She batted her eyelashes, and pouted.

He smiled fully, and answered: "But, who knows about diseases? They come and go so suddenly... who will suspect that the doctor is sick?"

"THANK YOU!" Mercury kissed him on the cheek, and hugged him.

"Hmm, for that reward, I would miss work every single day of the year!"

"Naughty boy. Now, come on, we've got to get back to the party!" She took his hand, and led him into the palace. As they left, two shadows appeared in the balcony.

"Oh God, that was close. One more minute and I would have sneezed right in front of them. I'm glad your invisible cover worked Serenity!"

The one addressed as Serenity nodded, and said: "I only regret we didn't arrive in here earlier."

"Oh, come on Serenity. Give them some privacy!"

"Yeah, but I still wanna now what happened before they forgave each other, Venus"

"If you really wanna know, we've got some cool pictures in here. I bet Mercury and Zoisite will tell us everything with just a little... incentive shall we say?"

"Yeah! Those pics of them kissing, then hugging, were great. I bet Endymion, Kunzite, Jadeite or Neflyte would loove to hear from this!"

"Let's go! We don't wanna miss the two lovebirds first dance, now do we?"

"Of course not! Come on, run!"

The two blondes ran into the palace too, leaving a trail of giggles behind them...
