BMW Around America |
Journey beginning 27 May 2000. That is the physical motions of traveling around America sharing my soft ki concepts. During which I was able to contact three of my old GI Friends from Okinawan time period learning the Okinawan Shorin-ryu Matsumura Seito Karate-do. Let alone three family relatives not since for years. Then most of all the Great Host of Karate practitioners who allowed me to reside in their homes. One such occasion husband wasn't home during first night visit. Truly experiencies of a life time, with danger and intrigue along the way. |
First camp 27 May 2000, Angel Lake Nevada |
This saturday evening, was the first and of all weekends Memorial Day Weekend. Left home around 6:30 a.m., with first stop Gas station and then Auburn California. Truly had the last breaskfast with my famioly over looking the Sacramento Valley from Denny's. Forgot to get still photos there or in California at all. They journey was not going to be a tourist traveling around. Idea was to share the soft ki concepts, which had been lost in to many martial art systems. Very close to Tai Chi, yet from Okinawan kata concepts. Check out the tuifa cane resting against bike. Hand made, and maybe the last production from hand. I ended up giving it away to a Indiain Shaman in Kansas. Later story, ha ha. During my journey, I tried to keep off medications when I could. Having a chronic back problem, have to be cauious and carefull. Angel Lake is around 250 miles from Salt Lake City. |
Master Fu and I down in Harvey New Orleans. He is a Seito under Ted Lange Shinshii while in Viet Nam. I may have read letters about him and promotions. Soken Sensei would bring out his letters from Ted and let use read them. That is the Yozadake Seito Club which Ted started in Oct 1970. |
While visiting cousine Bobby in Palm Harbor Florida. Rather unique to have chance to get so close to Crane. Have some video as well as a couple still photos. Truly enjoyed sharing the ki concepts, since they assist all in Blood pressure etc.. |
