First Camp, Angel Lake Nevada 27 May 2000 |
Thank God, I had the tuifa cane for part of my journey. Did have to give away to Indian Shamen in Haysville Kansas. Later story. My tuifa cane supported me, everywhere I went, my bike too sometimes. |
This is one of several ki concepts displaying the power of thought. The mind has so much energy yet we don't hardly use any at all. This was in Jerry Wilsons Dojo in Illinois. Truly a fine group of karate practictioners without question. His uke for my visit, was like a Die Hard battery, Johnny was his name. He had made one error, and that was to proclaim "Charles threw him harder than anyone else ever had." John should have said included " in such a soft maner." I try to prove at seminars that the hard physical most individuals use only hurts body in long run. Soft ki concepts movements are much better. Could have set two people upon mid section, and she still would be able to maintain streight body alignment, from mentally thinking. Important point in Martial Arts, our mental powers can be greater than our physical. |
This beautiful mountain range, around Angel Lake area. Good refreashing place to camp after ride in warm sun. Got gas at bottom of mountain, and a cold cut sandwich, and couple cokes, and water. Glad I had, for I got hungry. After fighting a little while got my tent up, a little wind can slow things down with only one putting tent together. Sleeped pretty good that night considering my back and arms were killing me. Didn't want to convey negative items along journey, but what is, is! There were several camps around the area. The next morning I video my leaving the site, and woow like a good guy wanted to drop my garbage off, almost dropped my bike loaded down. I could never put bike on its center stand. Just no pull power. |
