Brian Bartunek Seito |
Brian San joined SHOKA the Spring of 2000. Young man that enjoies History. Practiced other systems, and likes the softness of Matsumura. Which doesn't occur until later training. Will be a Great Martial Arts Historian someday. |
Michael Baker Shinshii |
This Jujitsu Master will of great help to SHOKA. We are very Honored to have this distinquished gentleman wanting to learn the Matsumura Shorin-ryu katas to his curriculmn. His Heart is true Bushido, and enjoys learning. This past summer I got a chance to work out with Yanagi san, and we had fun in Tulsa Oklahoma. He found out that kata was always surfacing during his kumite. Studied Shotokan, in 60, and many other styles of Martial arts. Most in the Jijitsu field, and he is working on a beautiful book to put in libraries. Yes he has a Big Heart too. |
Gary L. Mahoney Shinshii |
Gary Shinshii, only earned a 3 kyu, but his katas were learned back in 80 @ 81 in Master Fise Kise's Dojo. Taught by Ed Gingrus Shinshii during his studies. Not lucky or fortunate enough to meet Hohan Soken Shinshii. Got truly close roots, with his studies though. Coming back into the arts, felt there has been something missing, and it wasn't a fine family of God, but the Martial art he started over 20 years ago. Not sure if he was Born on a Mountain top in Tennisee, but that is where he presently lives. |
Jeff C. Alexander Shinshii |
Jeff Shinshii, studies Goju Ryu, and previously Kenshinkan Karate. I beleive he has been in the arts for over 20 years presently, and enjoys kumite. |
