Korn:  Issues

Its the fourth album for Korn! YAY!!  And I must say it s an awesome cd.  My only complaint is that it seems Korn is starting to use formulas which is a shocker!  Just listen to "Beg for Me", "Make Me Mad", and "Wake Up".  But that doesn't mean these are bad formulas.  It just seems like they have 2-3 beat changes in a song.  A regular tempo, a slow tempo, and then the chorus beat.  To most this may not bother but to other it may seem redundant.  But still Korn has hot Lp on its hands that will go multi platinum! +****

NIN: The Fragile

It has been five years since The Downward Spiral. And now Sept 1999 Trent Reznor releases The Fragile.  This double cd mixes metal, rock, and industrial to form one awesome LP!  You would think after all this time Nine Inch Nails would run out of good songs to write.  But thats far from the truth.  Just listen to "We're in this Together".  The lyrics and music will blow you away.  Don't let the fact that its a double cd scare U away.  And don'tthink its not worth the money cause YOU WILL MISS OUT!! ^_^  The whole LP really reaches out in a variety of unique sounds and lyrics.  A lot of bands these days grab you by the Lyrics, music, bass, or the lead singer.  But NIN reminds you what music is all about.  Grabbing you with every category!  *****

Sugar Ray: 14:59

It's the third album for Suagr Ray and they are still on top of the pop charts!  One shocker is this LP doesn't have the PARENTAL ADVISORY warning on it!  I wonder why they did this?  But then again Sugar Ray was never really all that hardcore to begin with. ^_^  The cd features KRS-One which shows that Sugar ray is still likes the rock/ska/pop sound!  They don't have quite as many fast songs as they did on the past 2 cds but thats ok.  It seems like their songs have more meaning and emotion in them.  So even if you think Sugar Ray is going soft I'd give the cd a chance.  After all, no one likes phonies! +****

Slipknot: Slipknot

To say this band rocks would be an understatement!  Not only that but they break the rules with 9 band members! 1 lead vocalist, 2 guitarists, 1 bassist, 2 percussionist, 1 drummer, and 2 Djs!  When all that comes together you get one awesome colage of music!  If your asking me why you haven't heard much about this band its probably because they do not make videos or T.V. commercials.  They do not want to be a multi millionaires but merely sell enough to eat and continue to spread their music.  This band wants to stick to its underground roots.  With that said it would be safe to assume they are difinetly hardcore.  Lots of bass and raw lyrics! ^_^  And their masks are scarier than their music!  If any one can bring the underground to the mainstream its gotta be Slipknot! *****  Listen to:  Wait and Bleed, Surfacing, Spit it Out, and No life.
