The G-Con '97 Model Contest
This year the model contest seemed to be smaller in size, but it was no less amazing. The hard work and creativeness put into these kits was very evident. There were several large dioramas that looked very impressive, and there were quite a few smaller kits, which had amazing detail.
I was pleased to see so many greatly crafted kits. Some of the winners from the past years were back with more awesome models, and it looked like there were some new entrants as well.
I decided to go big and took a four model diorama which I entitled Biollante Attacks! I was really happy to find out that I had won the Jr. Modelers category. Also, my brother got third with his stand alone Baragon. So, our family did pretty well for our first try. And if you look close, you can see our GODZILA license plate in the back ground.
