TOPIC: PRESENTS at CHRISTMAS.
Do you think we should give presents
at Christmas?
First Girl Talk topic ever done!
Yes, I think present-giving helps us
remember God’s gift of Jesus to us.
However, if we get so caught up
wondering about this-and-that and are
so confused we can’t remember
anything, that’s where we need to stop
and just say, “Hey -- what am I doing?
My focus should be on loving, not
buying.” Just calm down to where you
can actually think and begin by
worshiping the King. Then you can go
out and actually enjoy shopping -or
making- for loved ones.

I think we should as long as we keep
the real meaning in mind, because it’s a
reflection of God giving us the greatest
Present of all.
--Leanne
Yes, I think you definitely should,
because God’s gift to us was Jesus and
we should give gifts to commemorate
that.

I think that it is really funny that Presents at Christmas was brought up. In my family on my mom's side we are thinking about doing away with presents all together which makes a big sad, because we don't give presents on my dad's side at all except to the grandparents of course. But I really believe that Christmas isn't about the presents. It's about quality time with my family. But having Christmas presents becomes very expensive and sometimes of out control. But getting presents makes Christmas a little bit more adventours and interesting. So yes. I think we should just give something little for Christmas instead of straveagent presents that are like $30 and $40. I can't afford things like that. so that's what I think.
