***Story:***
Gon, a child
who lives with her Aunt Mito, met a blonde guy who is a hunter. He
said that he was looking for his master, Gon's father. After knowing
this, Gon asked for her aunt's permission to give him the chance to
join the hunter exam test. In this way, he can train himself and he
can also find his father. Aunt Mito bid farewell and hoped for Gon's
arrival soon. At the ship, he met two people who looks nice and who
also want to be a hunters. They are Kurapika and Leorio. Kurapika
wants to be a hunter to avenge his comrades. He is the only
one left from his tribe-Kuruta who were killed by the "Gryodan" who
has spider symbol on their backs. They killed the said tribe for
their beautiful red eyes when they get mad. Leorio wants to be a
hunter too because his friend died coz he can't cure him. So, he
want to have money to finish medicine and cure people for free.
Many applicants died in the said trip. But the 3 of them
survived. Upon arrival, they must go to the said mountain to take
the exam. But before that, they were tested first. They passed and
continued their journey. At the mountain, they met another child
named Killua. Killua is actually one of the
famous professional killer from
the Zordick Family. Gon wasn't surprised and instead, he made
friends with him. They met a mysterious guy named Hisoka who looks
like a clown. He uses sharp cards as his weapon. To start the exam,
they were asked to follow the master until they reach the finish
line. There are many troubles they had encountered but they promptly
passed the 1st test. The 2nd test was about cooking. It was first
hard to please Ms. Menchi, the test giver. She didn't pass anybody
but the head of the Hunter Association gave the applicants another
chance. Many failed and many passed. The 3rd test was to reach the
bottom of the tall tower. The 4 of them were together, and Mr. Tomba
added to make the party of 5 complete. They had troubles but the
passed the test in exact time. The 4th test was to test their
cooperation to each other. They were left in an island and they must
manage to escape there using the ship. They succeeded and was able
to move on. The 5th test is to chase one another to get their nos.
and to make 6 pts out of their own no. and the no. they got. Gon
tried his best to get Hisoka's no. but he was merely killed by the
person who have him as target. But Hisoka insisted and gave back his
no. to Gon. They passed the test that merely ended their lives. The
last test was to fight with one another one on one. One
of the weird applicants was soon revealed as Irumi, Killua's oldest
brother. He brainwashed him that made him killed an applicant. He
was disqualified and went back home. The rest became hunters. As
soon as they are able to go on their own ways, The 3 decided to
visit Killua at Mt. Kukulu where the Zordick Family lives. They
manage to train themselves and to pass some critical trials they had
encountered. Killua and Gon finally saw each other again. So, they
went on a journey together. Leorio went home to finish his studies.
While Kurapika went on his own to his problem. While Killua and Gon
decided to join a tournament. They met Zoochi and Mr. Wing who
helped them master Nen. Gon finally fought with Hisoka but he lose
in their fight. But because of their determination, they finally
master Nen and decided to continue on with their journey.
Kurapika, who continues to master Nen, he chose chains as
his weapon. He wishes to revenge his tribe in no time. He applied to
protect a girl for an easy access in the upcoming York New City
Festival for the rich. He wants to have a connection to find the
Spider Murderers easily. There are also other
applicants and therefore they were put into
test. Back to Killua and Gon's journey, they went to Whales Island
to visit his Aunt Mito. There, they stayed for a while. Killua
learned many things like to treasure life
and trust others. They manage to cure the little bear and Gon also
learned more whereabouts about his father, Jin. He heard his own
voice through a tape. Then they decided to find the Green Island
game. Their journey continued. They tried to purchase lots of money
to buy the game. At the York New City, they both met up with
Leorio and trade some valuable things they have. While the
"subastahan" is going on, the Spider Group finally attacked the
people and killed them all. Even the reinforcements were killed
including the "inju" which
are the strongest defense of the
imperial. Kurapika, knowing that they are the
spiders, he attacked No. 11 and killed him. Now, the spiders want to
make a revenge. So, they attacked the place and killed many people.
Gon, Killua and Leorio asked Kurapika to let them help but he
insisted. Before having the attack, the spider's leader invited Neon
for a date and killed her later after knowing his fortune. During
the attack, the special warriors of the imperial including Killua's
father and grand father was hired to protect the imperial against
the spiders.
A new set of adventures awaited them as they journey
along...
