Eidos brings another Action/Adventure title to the Dreamcast. After numerous delays and pushbacks in release dates, Omikron finally makes it out for Dreamcast. Does the touted "meant for consoles" game originally released on PC make a smooth, if not better than that, transition over to Dreamcast? Omikron was originally conceived as a PC game; one that promised a realistic world with living, active inhabitants that players could interact with and around which their game could revolve. Unfortunately, as Omikron on the PC was a highly ambitious project, and probably bit more off the proverbial hamburger than it could swallow in terms of living up to full expectations. However, despite the game's shortcomings, it still received accolades for both what it tried to do and what it did do successfully. Does it control as how we originally envisioned it to?
