There are six Ability scores. Each represents your natural stats that you have grown up with. The scores themselves are stable. They will stay the same unless something drastic happens to your character. For the most part the abilities are based on a ten average. That is, the average person on the street has somewhere close to a ten stat while characters tend to be up a few more.
Awareness is a combination of your five senses along, with intuition, combined with your character's ability to proccess it meaningfully.
The Body Ability is nothing much more then your body mass. It also is partially how well you can take physical punishment. A person is 7kg per body point. This makes the average woman about a 10 body and a man around 13. The actual weight can vary from +/-3kg but not by much more.
The Learn score is primarily the ability to understand how to do things that require logic and memory. It is used by many skills as the primary ability when determining how well a character performs based on level.
While body is the mass of your character, Physique is the actual muscle tone. A person with a high body and a low physique would be, no beating around the bush, fat. Someone with a low body and a high physique would be wiry. None of the stats represent your appearance. With as much technology and magic out there, you can appear almost any way you desire.
Reflexes is mostly an ability of agility and quickness. Smooth flowing grace is more of a skill to be learned. Reflexes is the second most common ability that deals with skills. Gymnastics all sorts of personal combat skills all fall under it's domain. Like all other skills a ten represents ability to act as a normal person, neither clumsy nor especially quick.
The last Ability a character has is Will. There are very few skills that use this as their skill. Mostly ones that have to deal with resisting torture or other hard driving chores. Will represents your inner strength and power. It is an important stat for people who use magic, psionics and even intelligence agents. As it can also affect how much punishment you can take before giving into passing out, it shouldn't be taken lightly by combat personnel either.
