    3. Skills are the heart of the system. Every skill has a primary ability that relates to it. Using IP or experience point you can improve skill levels. These skill levels combined with the proper Ability get your skill bonus. This is what you use with a roll of dice to get your result. The better you roll the better the result. In combat you would take the weapons base damage and multiply it by the amount you exceed the defender's result by.

      Skills are bought per level at 100 exp per level. Every gained level lets you get more of a bonus.. But after a few levels, it may take more then one level to get the bonus. Or you might hit your bonus limit. (Your skill bonus now equals the ability that measures it.) This is because we use a formula of 20% closer to 100% for each level. This is not a linear progression of 20, 40, 60, etc. Rather it is a curved progression. The actual math is (1-0.8^level of skill) as a percentage. A skill list will be forth-coming once it is decided what skills to incorporate.
