Rose, rose, rose, rose; will I ever see thee Red? Welcome! I will marry at thy will, sire, at thy will...

Well, well, it seems as though you have found the secret rose garden, a beautiful and peaceful place where you can temporarily put aside all the troubles of the outside world. The royal rose fairies tend to this garden, and you can take one for your page, if you wish. The usual rules apply, and there is a special adoption banner to put on your page. But remember... It's a secret!

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet... Roses are red, violets are blue... I've been kissed by a rose from the grave... I am the rose of Sharon, And the lilly of the valleys... Every rose has its thorn- Just like every night, has its dawn...
I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, Where oxslips and the nodding violet grows, Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine. (A Midsummer Night's Dream) Snow White, Rose Red

You must stop to smell the roses along the road of life! I must not hurry along this road, There is too much to see; A crimson flower, a wrinkled toad, A knotty, scarred oak tree...(Betty Jean Soule)

A rose to the living is more Than sumptuous wreaths to the dead...(Nixon Waterman) Good day to you. How dost thou fare? Everything is rosy

Rose windows In case you can't tell, roses are my favorite flowers! I hope you enjoy them, too, wanderer. -Cara Yellow Rose of Texas

Good day! Enjoy the garden! See the world through rose colored glasses

Hello, humans! We may be little, but we help tend the garden, too!

He came and took me by the hand Up to a red rose tree, He kept His meaning to Himself, But gave a rose to me...(Ralph Hodgson) ...Long, long be my heart with such memories filled, Like the vase in which roses have once been distilled- You may break, you may shatter the vase if you will, But the scent of the roses will hang round it still. (Thomas Moore) I see His blood upon the rose And in the stars the glory of His eyes...(Joseph Mary Plunkett) ...Of all the pleasant flowers in June The red rose hath no peer. (Thomas Howell) ...Just remember in the winter for beneath the bitter snow Lies the seed that with the sun's love in the spring becomes...The Rose.
